Bulldog: Working on regaining man card

Yeah…definitely going back to neutral grip pullups. Also play around with the volume on them.

Sexy set up mate.

On a sad note, did you hear Eddie Van Halen has passed away? Shocking

What? I didn’t hear…damn it.

Yeah, long battle with throat cancer. One of my fav guitarists. Great shame.

I remember the diagnosis…

Eddie and Van Halen really helped make the 80’s a great time for me.

My God. So sorry. I didn’t realize that that post was from SIX years ago.

Sir, I’m a Christian and I am deeply offended by your assumption that we Christians don’t have a sense of humor.

Seriously dude, that’s a brilliant kind of funny.

No worries.

Bench : 3x5@ 290 … felt easy. Starting to see signs that the volume on the upper back day is paying dividends.

Incline db press. : 3 x 12 @ sw still fairly light but im starting to get into the grove with them. Wasnt as comical as last week

Dips: 3 x10

Some arm stuff…made my feelings clear on those.

Ssbar dynamic box squats: 10 x 2 @ 60%
Trap bar deads : 3x5 @ 80 %
Rdl: 3 x 10@ sw
Seaded band hamstring curls: 50 reps rest paused
Banded side bends: 2 x 25 per side

Well I decided to experiment. I want to get more squat volume in so I decided on adding in some box squats. Worked as I expected … ended up as a good warm up for the trap bar. Everything was fired up and the 3x5 on the trap bar moved like speed work.

BTNP: 3 X 5 @ 155… easy . Im going to avoid pushing up the weight too fast on these ,slow and steady. Need to take time until the mobility is fully back before I push it.

Seated db presses: 3 x 10@ sw … well shit. Found that on these im better off cleaning them in position over using the db holders.

Close grip bench ( shoulder saver): 2x 10 @ 275 , 225 x 10

Lateral raises: 3 x20 @ sw
Push downs : 3 x 20 @ sw

I wish I could be patient. The best progress I ever made with these was when I didn’t care and had no ego attached tot he weight. Just very gradual proggressive overload.
