He literally had no weak points. His worst lift was still great. He won it in the Deads in WV. And with the biggest dead. He knew what he needed, and alsways had it. He knew when to hold something in the tank for the end, and a lot of guys don’t have that discipline. They go for something in squats that only hurts them in deads, or maybe don’t do enough in squats and can’t win it with the deads. Ed knew exactly where to be in each lift, even if it wasn’t his max available on the day, he had the tactics in his head.

We are almost the same age, and you do not look uinfamiliar. The only contest I did in Indiana was one of Chad Coy’s Independence Day ones. It seems like I may have run into you somewhere?
