Alright you sons of bitches!! Going to get back under the bar this weekend. Maybe this time it will stick.

Squats: shit ton of just the bar to warm up.
2nd semi working set my piriformis on the right side said " Hi fucker remember me"
Spent the remainder of the session stretching it out between sets.
Last pre planned"Heavy" set ( Heavy= light as hell) was a AMRAP set . Shut it down at only 12 because I started favoring the left side due too the stiffness in my right hip
went down 20% and finished with 5 x 5
Good mornings: 5 x 10 light
Standing Band crunches 5 x 10
looks like Ill need to get out a lacrosse ball and do some mobility stuff
What program do you plan to get back into?
At this point some powerbuilding routine or what ever i pull out my ass. I would say its going to take awhile getting things humming again.
That’s called winning. Nice job mate.
No kidding… i figure i would be walking like a zombie dragging a worthless right leg.
Hey @hardartery since you mentioned ED in another post…
Taken at a lifting clinic a few years back…
Also whats your take on the squat expert?
Guy on left looks familar. Which one’s you? Ha.
You should have a copy of that on your gym’s wall.
im the sexy one…lol
Woah. Lucky bastard! Is he as nice in real life as he is on youtube?
yep… good guy down to earth.

Bench: pretty much same rep and set scheme as squats. I estimate its down 90lbs at the moment from not training and not eating. All thanks to my covid mental collapse.
One arm DB rows: 5 x 10 & SW
Push downs: 3 x 12 @ SW
Band pull aparts: 3 x 20
Pretty much took it easy…
Probably throw in a upper back day
I met him at the Arnold down here 2 years ago. A real gentleman and all up nice guy.
In my experiene, he’s a super nice guy and very friendly. I made a comment about how he trains once on GoHeavy waaaaay back in the day, and he immediately hit me with a email inviting me to ask him whatever I wanted to know about his training. Later on I ran into him at a contest in West Virginia. I was doing Strongman and he was there to win the Powerlifting. We talked in the competitors area for a while. I have nothing but good things to say about him, and I stole from his training rather openly. I firmly believe in feeling like there’s still one rep in the tank on the work sets and not actually going to failure. And he’s thick as hell too.
Yeah… i could get over his upper back thickness. One question that stuck out was…how the hell does a guy of his height have such big freaking feet!! I tell you what squatting in front of him made my ass pucker.
I shudder to think about what he could find wrong with my squat, LOL.
Yeah… back of your mind your thinking Oh fuck oh fuck. Dont look like shit in front of the goat.
@hardartery honestly i feel most people over look with Ed is his bench. I believe over 550 or so in comp. Considering he is not built for the bench.
