Bulldog: Working on regaining man card

ear phones

This is my favorite song… ( think I mentioned it before that it is)

Just some walking on hamster wheel this afternoon. Semi deload this week to let the right hip and shoulder joint cool off from the inflammation going on. Other wise i feel fine with no real fatigue at the moment.

used several different bands and a light DBs to gorge the upper body with blood… all pump work. Made the right shoulder feels better.

What’d you think of these?

Actually kind of liked them as a secondary movement… nice change of pace.
Now the benefits from them is obviously too early to tell.

Haha fair enough man. If you stick with them for a while I’ll ask again. I’ve wanted them to be a good fit for me but I’ve never really gotten into them.

Part of it, I think I’m too tall to do them standing and get much of anything from second half of ROM and the kneeling version is just kinda meh.

deadlifts

Deads off 4 inch blocks: worked up to a surprisingly easy 455lbs BUTplayed it safe and didnt go higher since right hip was still grumpy
3x3@365lbs

Close stance GMs: 3 x 8 @ SW
lunges : 3 x 10 @ SW
Standing Band crunches: 6 x 20

The sore hip might be a blessing … I sorta was forced to really bring the stance in. Which got me thinking… it reminded me how I use to pull when I was into Bodybuilding in my youth. Which was more of a Clean Deadlift stance when I actually had a ok pull for my bodyweight. It sorta clicked doing so this evening.

Well… what im looking into at the moment is playing around and integrating Viking Presses into the mix coming up on a whim.

Another on my “to try” list haha. Actually hoping once I get into my new place I’ll have enough room to build a proper rig for it.
