Drove 45 minutes yesterday to train and hang out with my one buddy and my son yesterday.
Nice little gym actually called the Warehouse Gym… Pretty bare bones place just the way I like it.

Still feels odd… also found the reason for lack of volume in the voice over is due in part because of a damn cheap mic.

Holding off a day… right AC joint in right shoulder is inflamed with allot of popping and cracking going on. Ice and ibuprofen are on the docket this evening.

Thats not good news mate. anything specific that set it off.

Yeah a poor set up on a strange bench when I trained at the gym I mentioned.

Dynamic squats: 8x2@365lbs/165.5kg… I was feeling a little slow and not explosive

Modified sumo speed pulls: 10 x 1 @ 70% did a few singles up to 95%. weight didnt feel heavy just awkward since im still getting the feel for them.

GHR: 50 total

Standing Band crunches: 5 x 20

Biker Bulldog

Bench: top set for the day 360lbs/163kgs
5 x 3 @ 325lbs/147kgs.

Pendlay rows: shit ton… Ok my upper back strength is in decline time to prioritize again! Which I notice while trying to stay tight on bench.
SSBAR JM press: bunch
Bent over flyes: 3 x 20 @ SW

Forgot to say…
Your vids+ voice are good. A new or different cue/phrase, may click with someone and be helpful during the set up, or session. I know we all appreciate that, from each other here, when they come up.
Your GHR looks to be very solid, nice job there.

The Cult is a nice touch.

Like I mentioned that there is two issue with doing the voice over…

  1. need a better quality mic
  2. Need to get where its more natural as if I was having a one on one conversation.

Already mentally preparing myself for tonight’s session. Gearing up to really push myself on ME lower this afternoon.

Squats: 370lbs plus 80lbs of chains x 3 … after set right hip said go to hell . Shut it all down before I really jacked myself up,

Hips a little sore this morning but no lasting damage imo. Can get into a squat position with just minor discomfort.

Well I won’t say I am on the mend. For the next week I will train around it. Next time I squat I’ll wear a pair of squatting briefs until it clears.
