Your boy going to do another meet now that he’s back in the gym? Do you know he and my daughter play some online trivia game together? Ha!
Well yes you did mention she had played a game… which I assume is trivia crack on Face book.
Well at the moment him actually doing a PL Meet is pretty low on the “Do List” due too what has recently happen in wrestling.
Besides making it all the way to Semi State. He got rewarded with making first team all State academic. As his coach told him be expecting letters from colleges in regards to his wrestling.
So know its a matter of Dakota deciding what his priorities are sports wise going forward.

Your benching and BTNP are looking strong. Looks exciting for Dakota with colleges offering him scholarships. That’s worthy of congratulations.
Well no colleges as of yet has offered scholarships in wrestling… But at most hes probably been put on the radar
Squat: 2 x bar
95
135
200
245
295
320 x 5
370 x 5
420 x 8 … left a few in the tank. besides I was starting to suck air.
320 x 12
Gm’s: 2 x 10 x 165 ( strict) lower back was fatigued so I played it smart.
Standing band crunches: 3 x 10
All things considered it was a ok session considering i have squats on the back burner .

Bad news…only pulled sumo tonight. Shoulder was REALLY PISSED OFF.
Good news…starting next week the Boss is having pull conventional again for awhile.
When did your wife decide she was doing your programming!!

Nice work by the pup by the way.
Whoops let me clarify my Deadlift coach…My actual BOSS has no say in that. Just every thing else LOL. Of course the fact she has my testicles hostage in her purse gives her pretty good leverage.
Yeah pretty much things are going too get pretty serious now with Pups strength training . Were defiantly going to push it really hard.
Squats: a few warm up sets
( buffalo bar) 5 x 5 x 320 dropped down 10% of what I had planned**
GM’s: (strict) 5 x 10 x 165
Standing band crunches: 5 x 10
** Between getting over a weekend bug and my hips feeling beat up by the sumo pulls i decided to drop down my “light squat week” even lower just to get in some work if you can call it that. I guess you could say I was playing it smart.

I knew you were talking about your coach but I had to bust your chops because I know who the REAL Boss in your family is!
Pup is looking strong and still has plenty of room to grow. You should have fun with his training.

I know you were busting my chops, oh trust me were im from everyone knows who the HBIC is…LOL
yeah the thing is … things have gotten “real” for Dakota in regards to possible scholarships in a actual sport. Now if the possibility does now exists the best I can do is use my experience under the bar to help at least get him stronger.
Bench: 2 x bar
95
135
160
200
240
300 x 5
335 x 3
375 x 1…ugh total garbage no way could I have gotten any more. Damn thing felt like a freaking ton and moved slow as hell.
Skipped extra sets
Band pull aparts: 5 x 20
Push downs: 3 x 10 x stack 140?
Curls…skipped them.
Ugh felt like total ass today. Setting a record for the most amount of bugs Ive been fighting during the winter… this makes 3 ugh. I’m starting to appreciate the use of training maxes or EDM’s in regards to bad days.
Deadlift : “Boss” only allowed me to work up to the 405 range conventional since I haven’t done them for awhile and is going to progress me back up the next few weeks. Apparently I am now keeping my shoulders behind the bar.
Seated BTNP: 2 x bar
100
125
150
185 x 5
210 x 3
235 x 5… decided to get stupid and did some singles
255 x 1
275 x 1…probably not the smartest thing
bent rows: 3 x 5 x 250
Pulldowns : 5 x 10 x Sw
Shrugs: 405 x 10/ 15 x 30
Band pull aparts: 5 x 20
Oh for God Shakes…this bug I had last weekend is getting its last licks in. The chest congestion and body ache was bad enough. Saturday it decided to travel south… Saturday night I was blowing chow and Sunday a big portion of today the toilet was my best friend.

I agree this is getting old real fast… puts one hell of a damper on progress
