Well… last few tweaks.

  1. moving speed pulls . To be done after Lower ME movement… have come across several who do this.

  2. Setting up some parameters on the intensity level I use on my ME work on the top set. Since I am not a spring chicken and I am not a poster boy for a pharmacological company ,

week 1 … 3-4 x 1 @ 90% of established PR on given lift for that day
week 2 … 1 x 3 @ 85% of established PR on given lift for that day
week 3… 1 x 100% or new PR on given lift for the day ( heavily auto regulated)
week 4 …repeat cycle or possible deload if needed

Hey bulldog. I need advice. I may have to stop regular programming until October 4. At best, I could do one training session a week. How do I go about this?

I’m guessing:
Week 1: Squat, Bench, assistance
Week 2: DL, OHP, assistance
Repeat

Was planning to use % from week 1 (top set 85%, AMRAP) for all days just so I can at least maintain until October 4 then jump back to my usual 5/3/1

Thoughts?

Well if you cant sneak in a second short session a week in. You will have to go with what you have set up. Go ahead and use what ever is your current Training max going in.

With only once I week I would suggest possibly upping the assistance stuff.

Saw your comment about your nephew in the flame free confession thread. I thought it was because he was really skinny and you wanted him to get some muscle. Definitely having too much sugar lol

At some point the family genes got watered down… along with lack of physical activity.

Haha! Well, he’s young, so losing fat could be an easy fix. Any sport he’s into? It was around that age I started getting addicted to my sport

Now before you go getting too judgmental, didn’t you say he was on the spectrum? Hand eye coordination can be affected. So, it may not be as easy as it is for you or I. It’s taken almost 14 years for Jed to be able to catch a ball :frowning:

does video gaming count as a sport in your view?

HOW DARE YOU USE LOGIC ON ME !!! But obviously my sister has no clue about healthy eating.

Not gonna lie, I didn’t look at that and think “poor training”, I thought “shitty diet and so much fizzy drink he’s lucky to not float away”.

…Houston, we have a problem…

Did he answer you that? If so, the belt is always an effective tool to get kids to start running .
Not a bad start if you ask me lol

Looks like he has to spend more than a summer with Uncle Bulldog lol

Lmao! And that’s probably part of the problem. I am a human garbage disposal. I ate the very same things she gives him in even larger quantities and was not fat when I was his age.
