Setting up some parameters on the intensity level I use on my ME work on the top set. Since I am not a spring chicken and I am not a poster boy for a pharmacological company ,
week 1 … 3-4 x 1 @ 90% of established PR on given lift for that day
week 2 … 1 x 3 @ 85% of established PR on given lift for that day
week 3… 1 x 100% or new PR on given lift for the day ( heavily auto regulated)
week 4 …repeat cycle or possible deload if needed

Well if you cant sneak in a second short session a week in. You will have to go with what you have set up. Go ahead and use what ever is your current Training max going in.
With only once I week I would suggest possibly upping the assistance stuff.
