Dynamic squats: 10 x 2 @ 70% … ehh speed was ok not great. Was feeling pretty tight in the lower body and was having a hard time getting warmed up.

Speed pulls: about 5 singles at 65% . Shut it down had zero power … I would say it is the side effect from pulling heavy Monday.

Dimel Deadlifts: 3 x 15 @ SW … plan on using these instead of KB swings
Was running behind and had plans with the wife and omitted the backward sled pulls:
Standing Band crunches: 3 x 20 did these under allot of control focusing on bracing and time under tension.

Thinking of using the box on Dynamic days since its suppose to be easier on the system as a whole and not use it on ME days.

I use a box frequently.
As a depth check , touch and go.
Also great to push back onto to make sure glute and hamstrings are part of the squat, not a deep knee bend.
I’m no expert on the whole box squat technique etc…
I squat to a box. I doubt purists would call that a box squat.

The main thing is I plan to emulate my raw squat as much as possible. Since that seems to be the main thing stressed by certain established guys. Since there is still allot of debate how much carryover it has towards a raw squat.

Toyed with the idea. But getting really ripped doesn’t appeal to me. Leaning up sure. At the moment I am upset that I look stronger then i am :disappointed_relieved:

You’re a strong motherfucker, dude. That first 325 on incline looked like a walk in the park. Of course, that doesn’t mean it didn’t suck, but at least you made it look easy.

You played it smart. Routinely failing lifts doesn’t build sustainable strength.

Well true. Since the goal is not missing reps and hitting x amount of reps in the 90 % range for the given day. Defiantly auto regulated on my part.

Max effort box squats: haven’t done these in years. Well I had planned going in and doing 450lbs/204kgs. Well… got stupid

The box squats kicked my ass so I omitted the supplemental squat movement.
SSBAR GM’s: 5 x 10 @SW
Standing Band crunches: 5 x 20

Looks and feel are two different things. It’s honestly been awhile since I have gone up that heavy for various reasons. My old ass is feeling them as we speak.

For season I notice I have a knack of getting under certain peoples skin when i want. Hell compared to a few others my comments were tame. Yet he took offense towards me it seemed. Pretty sure any credibility in what he says is Jack and shit. Whoops you ment the squat and not my side project.
