Good to see your bug in retreat. The video is great. Your bullpup appears to be a man amongst boys strength wise and had a few nice transitions working there too.

that strength seems to be the one thing keeping him afloat. His skill defensively in the bottom position is hurting him against top level state rank guys. Which is allowing him to survive but not enough to allow him to win , but its slowly improving. I swear hes the unluckiest kid on the squad considering all the high end kids hes had to wrestle. If my research is correct he will have ended up wrestling 6 of the top 10 kids in the state before sectionals start.
Maybe if you rolled around with him on the ground he would be forced to use better technique. Your strength could make him revert to using better moves since your might would neutralize his. Just an idea. Or he could wrestle much heavier guys on a regular basis at practice so he learns skills can override strength many times.

He does wrestle with the 195 and 220 guys from time to time. Unfortunately , hes stronger and more experienced then the 195er and way faster then the 220.ugh

Yippy trained at the Y again because it was cold and didnāt want to burn up LP.

Pulldowns: 5 x 10 x Some weight
Band pull aparts: 5 x 20
pushdowns 3 x 10
Well not bad⦠hope the shoulder isnt pissed off at me . On another note Friday I think is going to suck because my āadviserā is going to work the dog crap out of me on deads making me pull with 100% perfect form. GOD he is the biggest form Nazi!!

My āfriendā bloody destroyed me with Deads tonight. Didnt go heavy or use allot a volume⦠didnt even pull from the floor all we focused on was me engaging my lats into the movement. At this moment they feel like they are going to fall off the bone.
When you hurt like that you know you got a good one in.

455 x 5ā¦well i had originally planned at capping it for 3 but im stupid. Good note I had a few in the tank but they would have been grinders and I didnāt want that.
I skipped the normal back off set I have been doing. Lower back was fatigued from work and I was feeling it slightly.
Gmās 5 x 10 x 155 real strict
Standing band crunches: 5 x 10
Next week its time to start using my regular bar for a few weeksā¦

Bench: 2 x bar

I skipped a bunch and avoided anything to fatigue my upper back since I will be pulling with my adviser / coach and he will fry my upper back anyway.

Yep.
Looks like your training is going really well.
Whatās next for you? Another meet?
Love that Ren and Stimpy, that brings me back to the day when I began watching them in 91/92. Great lifting euphoria going on in here.

Euphoria might be a understatement⦠i was sexual excited after. LOL
Sweet benching Sir. That puts you well over 400. I bet you could bench at least 425.

Thanks⦠yeah I did a max formula and it puts in at almost 440. But that doesnāt mean much so yeah id say 425 would be doable. Wont no for sure until I actual try which will not be until sometimes this summer when I get off my ass and peak and do a meet again.
looks like I will be pulling Sumo for awhile⦠not by choice

I hear you. Had to pull semi sumo my last meet due to injury and as ugly as my conventional pull is that was even uglier.
On a different note love the picture of the pup completing dominating his opponent.
