When you have sooo much fucking muscle, you have to be catabolic sometimes or the world would literally explode from the laws of nature breaking in regard to my mammoth size.

I expected a citrus fest in here guys!

That’s a distinction worth pointing out, but it’s both.

I can…and nothing there shows that a fat level less than obesity causes health problems.

Overweight (not obesity) puts one at risk for heart disease, hyperlipidemia, and in some cases, diminished psychological and social well being.
This is false info.

Your DIET AND LIFE STYLE AND GENETICS have way more to do with this.

Please show info supporting the idea that simply having a moderate body fat percentage causes any of this.

Damn, I am fucked.

Oh well
You look lean to me, though it’s hard to tell if one has a shirt on. It’s obvious from your posts you have a grasp on how to do things, so someone like you can easilty manipulate trainin and diet whenever you want with no problem.
LOL.

Still waiting for proof that a moderate body fat percentage alone less than obesity causes “heart disease, hyperlipidemia, and in some cases, diminished psychological and social well being.” like Brick claimed.

“Puts one at risk for” == “causes”
But you know that.

Please show proof that moderate body fat percentage alone is a “risk factor” for "heart disease, hyperlipidemia, and in some cases, diminished psychological and social well being. "

Apparently all of that talk of genetics and diet now means nothing.

You know that being overweight puts you at risk for those things.
It IS a risk factor.
Please stop being so purposefully dense.

I DEMAND DOUBLE BLIND PLACEBO STUDIES!!!

/unless it’s my broscience we are talking about.

  1. fat helps leverages
  2. fat lubes joints

Risk factors aside I think fat does help with stuff like that. There have been lots of powerlifters who go on a kick to get super lean and end up injuring shit left and right. Happened to one of my training partners :frowning:

Wrong. Your FAT PERCENTAGE is not a risk factor. “overweight” implies BMI…which is most used to provide obesity as a risk factor…which is a STATE OF BEING.
