Bulking Digestion Days

i am always bulking. i find that i eat alot every day and it starts to build up and up over the week or weeks. it becomes increasingly harder to eat because a surpluss is not getting digested every day.

i eventually reach a breaking point where i just wake up and i feel sick and i cant eat. i will feel sick all day and not eat very much and probally take some massive shits.

then i feel better the next day and start all over again.

my question is would it be better to once a week have a day where i only eat when im hungry so that my body can deload a little? it really kills my social life when i go out and just feel really full and sick and i cant drink.

eat more fiber. you’ll be crapping alot and feel alot better

Sounds oddd but drink more water as well stay hydrated and things will pass MUCH easier. Many people lay off the liquids as they try and eat more really slows things down.

No taking one day a week wont kill ya if you want to do it.

thanks for the help guys

since i allready have this post open im gonna ask a couple more questions

i currently injured and cant put weight on my left foot.

until i get back to the gym i plan on doing these light exercises to maintane my current strength.

pushups for like 35 reps per set with my left foot off the ground

pullups

supermans

do guys have any advice or recomendations for exersizes that wont invole me walking to the gym and using my left foot. im not expecting gains i just dont want to let myself do no exercise.

shut up and bulk. you ever eat over 4000 calories of clean food? you get clogged up sometimes espically in the begining. your mom also takes valtrex for her gential herpes

Everyone can benefit from digestive enzymes and probiotics. Good overall health starts in your gut, and it never hurts to help the process along w/ enzymes. You could also try papaya mint to aid in digestion if you feel bloated and shitty from too much food.

Your body doesn’t just adjust to increased calories overnight. It takes time and taking days off from eating more isn’t exactly going to help you get used to it. I see a lot of guys complaining about things that I considered to be simply part of the course when I started…because I wanted to get to a certain point badly enough. I honestly don’t understand the posts about feeling full or bloated…as if no one ever felt like that before and pushed through it. Yes, most people need to eat more fiber. Yes, digestive enzymes may help SOME people (even though I personally don’t give them much credit). However, the largest factor that will help…is simply doing this long enough for your body to adjust.

At 17 years of age, I doubt you really have a clue what it is like to truly eat large meals all of the time and need to eat that way just to maintain your body weight. Ask someone over 250lbs who is serious in the weight room what “eating big” is really like. I was talking to one guy about this the other day. He is about 6’1" and 260lbs. He says that sometimes he just gets tired of eating. All of us feel that way sometimes. However, if you want results, you do what needs to be done.

True enough. I can say me I hit 250 about 2 months ago stayed there a bit and damn from slowly getting there was damn friggin dead tired of eating lacked of just a touch for a few weeks and seemingly shit off ten lbs.

I slowly upped it again over a few weeks and now Im back on the horse gaining slowly edging closer to that 250 mark again stronger than I was prior but still its an every damn day thing it has to be part of life really literally hours spent eating or getting food. it gets old sure but if thats the plan the mission the goal, Its what it takes.

Cool thing is it makes you realise how damn easy it is to go from getting BIG to getting relatively lean. you simply quiter forcing food down. its the to extremees that are HARD gettiung HUGE!!! and getting ULTRA low stage ready lean with lots of Muscle. average to good is easy.

hahahahah youre the best.

i feel like we got away from the question

im not asking how i can avoid feeling bloated. i understand that if im eating alot im gonna feel really full

im just saying that after many days of being really full and stil eating, i get to a day when i just cant do it without throwing up.

i was wondering if i would benifit from a planned day where i dont eat as much as opposed to it just coming at random.

How did we get away from the discussion if this point was already hit on directly?

Beyond that, are you really throwing food up every single day or are you exaggerating? I don’t know many really big guys who haven’t forced food down to get to where they are unless they have very slow metabolisms. Why do you feel you weren’t answered?

i never said i was throwing up every day.

i just noticed a cycle in which i would eat big for a week or two and then get to a point where it just wouldn’t go down. normally on those days i would force down a shake or something because solid food make me gag and after the shake i would have to lie down.

this only happens once every two weeks or so.

but yesterday since i didn’t have any metabolic drive i tried to eat solid food and then drink alot of milk and i threw up.

im not complaning about eating like some of you are saying. i am willing to just continue the cycle but i thought that there might be a more effective way of doing it.

i started drinking more water as someone said and it has definatly helped so my question was answerd before. i thought it got off the question because people sarted flaming me for complaining about eating when i really just wanted to know how to eat better.

make huge shakes. when i cant eat i jsut make 800 calorie shakes.

No one was just flaming you, however, the point was, sometimes you just have to suck it up and do what needs to be done. A lot of newbies like to complain about things that I personally would have never complained about…because I thought that is what it took. I never expected forcing my body to gain over 50lbs of muscle would be a walk in the park. As has been explained to you, your problem could be a lack of fiber (this was told to you). You could utilize digestive enzymes (this was also told to you). Using a laxative in extreme situations may not be a bad idea either, however, safety becomes more of a concern because they can be abused. I don’t see how anything was missed in this thread…except for someone cuddling you.

I think also, that if you eat 6000 cals one day and then 2000 then next, you should be fine… If your average is 4000 - over the week, then it should all be ok.

you are right that ive been given the advice needed. i definatley think combining i couple of those ideas with me just sucking it up will help.

i personally dont think i came off as whining or complaing that gaining muscle is too hard. that was not my intention.
