If you’ve never done them, ROM is pretty low but you know just how far to go to feel it and IMO it his lateral delts just as hard or harder then traditional strict laterals. Don’t know bug’s thoughts on them vs. standard.

Would definitely be interested in hearing said thoughts.
If JM advocates it, I have faith that it will be pretty awesome (I’ve yet to try really ANY of his recommendations that weren’t). I just can’t imagine getting fucking 80’s going even through the strongest part of the lateral raise ROM haha
Shit i am not very strong and 70’s are perfect for 30 reps for me. Course I am unsure of how big or small of ROM others use. So 80’s to me sounds right on the money or even light for Bug considering the size of those damn boulders.
i got 140s for 40 reps this week ![]()
–logs looking good as always man i still follow it
I clearly need to actually try them. Good timing, tomorrow is chest/shoulder day.

Lol wut??
I would actually like to know a bit more about your job (you studied economics/finance right? I not please disregard this question)
How would you describe a normal day considering the task you do?
And most importantly, which subjects/skills do you find useful in your everyday work?
I just finished my 4th semester of economics so I’m quite interested in, what everyone is using their degree on, and especially which subjects are worthwhile.

ok seriously wtf is the ROM on that?? I’ve been doing them usually going between 4-5 o clock and 7-8 o clock.

are ppl posed 2 do laterals between 4:15 to 5:15? perhaps i’m lost in the conscious plain before the subconscious ocean depths?
140sx40 partials, 10 second rest, 70sx40 partials going up higher, 10 second rest, 30sx15-20 full range, x3 end highjack

plz teach me how to back
I know I said I’d respond to all of you but there is too much craziness going on. I think there are diminishing returns with using a heavier weight just for heavier weights sake, even on an exercise like these partials. I’d like to see Aggar’s 140s x 40, and I’m willing to bet he’s causing more straight to his joints and bone structure than his deltoid, lol. Each rep I get it out as far as possible and squeeze as long as I can. Anyways, I’ll get a video when I do them next.
Great leg day tonight. My buddy from work wanted to join me, we set a time, and got to it. After eating super clean yesterday, doing cardio, and seeing a very low BW on the scale, I decided to eat plenty of good foods before crushing it. It paid off. Gym weight was back up to 217 PWO. It was short and sweet.
Thorough warmup. Including 3 sets on each good girl/bad girl machine.
Lying leg curls: nothing fancy. Controlled negatives. Going “heavy” will be the name of the game for a bit.
65 x 15
90 x 12
110 x 10
140 x 10
155 x 10
170 x 8
Squats: barefoot as usual, brought my belt for the heavy set (for once). I knew from the warmups it’d be a good day. Was feeling powerful and explosive.
135 x 10
225 x 10
315 x 6
385 x 4
425 x 7 – yeah buddy, felt strong.
DB SLDLs: up to knees, slow negative, hold the stretch. These made me want to puke everywhere. Was tweaking form to make them extra painful for the hammies. Legs were shaking so hard.
85s x 15
110s x 10, 10, 10
Was gonna do leg press but some brostars had “7 more sets each”. My boy peaced out, and i attempted to do some leg extensions but I was cashed out. Did a little cooldown stuff, sat down for about 10 minutes dry heaving, and came home.
Its all about teh sexiness.
Nice work big dog.

Bug will kill me for derailing his log but ok
Step 1 - Eat steaks for breakfast
Step 2 - Fuck bitches ( This is optional but I recommend it )
Step 3 - Deadstop deadlift from lower-shin and pulldowns one week
Step 4 - Heavy rows + pulldowns other week
Step 5 - Always aim to pull the stack or more than the stack on pulldowns, always more weight next week
Step 7 - Eat more steaks
Step 8 - Two movements only so you go hard and heavy. Hard and heavy everyday keeps the weakness away.
Step 9 - Lighter vertical pulling day later in the week.
Step 10 - ???
Step 11 - Profit.
