Ghrs x20, back extensions
Pull ups ss with b o rows with 135# : a set of 8 pull ups then sets of 6-2 for a total of 50 reps each of rows and pull ups

Also did fat man pull ups 3 sets of 4

farmers handle carries 112#/arm x 1170 feet- 4 stops

That’s it for now. I tried figuring out how long time wise I carried each trip before having to drop the wt. Most scientifically I think the longest was 45 “1-One Thousands”

Moss’s vet visit went how I expected and he’s going to need a surgery consult. So there’s that. Might be knee, might be a hip issue. I’m hoping for knee so its easier to fix. I’ll start trying to get that arranged Monday.

I just sorta lost the flow but it was alright, I can’t complain if I can get 225x2 or 3 I am pleased. HOT in the gym even at 3:35am. I did get a video of a better 225x3 today, better depth. The sleeves make me feel in a way a bit hindered in diving for depth but they make up for it in support.

Walk and then 50 total pull ups

Hot and still feeling worn out today I only walked and pull up’d. I knew carries were not going to happen when I woke up at it was already BRIGHT and warm. The temp wasn’t terribably hot yet but the sun and me don’t mix.

So pull ups after doing errands : 10,7,6,5 sets of 3-4 for a total of 50 at the gym.

Its been a busy, short staffed, work irritance kinda few weeks as well as a quite frustrating personal time for me the last 24 hours.

Sometimes you do stuff and realize everyone was watching you, and that was the case with the set of 10 pull ups. I sound super conceided but I really appreciated that, I needed that today. I’m proud I could at least do some sweet pull ups today at the Tan It Up 11% or less Body Fat Body Builder Central gym and I believe people gave me mental props. I’m choosing to believe that anyway.

I did managed to video the 225x4, as per normal the first rep is the highest but the others looked ok. 225x5 will be a big milestone for me …I’ll get there…

I spend the weekend watching and enjoying the youtube vids ipl 2016 meet on my sweet smart tv. I really liked watching too! I think the commentators made it far better then a live stream. Do live streams have commentators?

I dunno, my computer is far to old to have a good time with any live stream. Anywho, it made me excited so I tried to a deadlift today with all the different techniques I saw on the vids. I’ve never really watched this way and it was quite cool to do!

I’ll have to skip a lifting day this week with the holiday hours a the gym not permitting it, I thought I’d deadlift today and eh whatever. NO caries this week because the field was sopping wet with water and mud.

OH MAN.

NO lifting to report this week. I think I did pull ups Sunday but I don’t remember. Its been a rough week. Super busy, super short staffed, lots of bad stuff at my job which has drained me. Two days in a row of 1am call in to work to help…sleep all messed up. MAN.

I was really looking forward to lifting today as day one of my weekend but it just did not happen. I did this:

unracked 215 then “nope”'d it out of there. Just no juice. I took a walk to let off some stress and it was exhausting. I usually feel bad when I can’t lift but this was for sure not the time to push through and try.

I am not sure if I’ll just call the whole week a wash and wait to try again Monday but we’ll see. A lot of the fatigue was from some work related stuff, some pretty bad morale and HR bullshit, …etc…The positive note is me and my work partner had the meeting we arranged today with the medical director and got lots of stuff of out chest and I think it might actually lead somewhere. There’s a whole story about that but the gist related to my log is that it SUCKS when work messes with my lifting. I work to live not vise versa, and lifting is a big part of my life.

Anywho. Now I am off work and might lift in the next few days or just recover.

On an unrelated note, I have been watching a lot more YouTube lately and noticed some things. Is it me or do LOTS of people use gear now? As in peds. GOOD GOD! I have been blind this whole time, but now its all starting to make sense. I don’t care one way or the other, do whatever you like and I know they still have to work at but I feel like its much more out there now…and lots of people do it. Not sure why it took me this long to piece it together going to the gym I go to.

Sorry to hear about the rough week. Not working out usually makes it even worse for me. I hope your weekend goes well.

tbar carries 155x about a total of 1/4 mile - 4 stops–I am going to start doing it for longer holds at a time which means less wt. Also I had nothing in me to do more! I’ll figure a way to time this.

b o rows at home before a shower 135x12

I got a new belt-- its a 3" wide one that I hope to use for dead lifts. My other ones are too wide for my rib cage to pelvic bone area. I worked a few singles of 315 deads with the belt to get used to it, but this will be something I have to do more often for sure. I need to learn to brace against a belt. HOWEVER I have tried it on b o rows and I like it a lot. I think I can get better form on those rows wearing it, and it for sure gives me a strength boost for the rows. Also I am converted to sleeves for dead lifts, they help remind me knee out.

It is new though , and an odd leather that smells strange.:{ I will use it.
