Today - Guy had no key to open the gym so I couldn’t start until 4:11. I had 18 minutes to get in and out and I did.

Tried out the knee sleeves. I LOVE THEM! I am a convert. I don’t give a shit I am wearing them from now on for squats, my knees really feel safe and loved in them!

Those sleeves are great! I was able to feel so much more stable. I think they helped my form a bit as well since I could narrow my stance. I have had to open it up with my wild floating patella on my right knee, but theses sleevey buds held everything in place.

Going for some SBD’s, to match my singlet/shoe lace combo!

Strong work Brute. When you are ready to move up to a knee sleeve with more support just mention it in your blog.

I have a pair of SBD’s that I use for DL’s and another similar pair I got for free that I have only used to protect my shins when pulling a few times. I will send them to Karen and she can get them to you.

OH I KNOW IT Z. Color combos are VERY important for me for lifting, in all seriousness! The look makes the lift.

COOL!! Thanks DBasler! :D!!! I think I would like to try them on dead lifts myself. The day after rack pulls I have concluded is when my knee feels swollen. I am not sure if this is a form issue or something else?

There was about seven guys doing dead lifts in FRONT of the squat racks today, so I guess a step up from squat rack curling, sorta…not even using the racks just setting up inches in front of two out of the three squat racks for dead lifts and there was at least six of them crowding there

Not a huge deal …but left me with the rack that has the basketball hardwood floor. Fine for the most part for squats , but really slippery for lunges. I just kept loosing my footing and called it.

However I do dislike packs of men. I am sure they are nice enough but there was a TON of them there. Sitting down and slow walking in circles. I guess its only fair. Still! > : {


Check these out! My Twinnie let me borrow these grippers! Now to figure out a gripper training routine. These fuckers are not easy, but Moss gets so excited seeing them.

Felt like dead lifts and rack pulls so I did dead lifts and rack pulls
dead lifts hook grip 45x12, 135, 205 mixed grip 275, 325, 350
rack pulls just below the knee (standing on 3 mats) hook grip 135x3, 225x3, mixed grip 315x3, 350x3, 380x3, 400x1, on two mats 400x1, on 1 mat 400x1, no mat 400x1 -so each of the reps had less ROM then the one before not vice versa.

I am out of sorts today. Some family health stuff going on and its kinda scary. So . I don’t know what to do with myself. I can’t really help or do much but wait to hear news. No news is good news being the theme.

NO news WAS good news. My dad had a scare but it turned out ok, so far. He had a few days of observation and was given the all clear. A massive sigh of relief. THANK GOD.

AH Z! Thanks! You probably won’t see me unless I’m in Das Brute ( car) Moss is on strict rest…for the next 4 weeks.

My strolls shall be on the green belt trail which is tucked away…without my Beloved :frowning: He’s gotta get this leg sorted , and I gotta walk my stress out. I don’t live in the best neighborhood and feel quite vulnerable as a lady walking by I-70 and all the truck stops with out a large dog , so I’ve been forced to battle the bicyclists on the trail instead of the REAL bikers on my street. In high daylight no less. I do still carry Bear Spray and a small club. You never know.

Today- I need to not go next week at the same time because they were back again and using ALL the racks as clothes rangers and a place to plop their crap.

The swarm of men who do dead lifts in front of the squat racks. I had to wait ten minutes for an open rack and it would have been longer had I not made a point of asking the guy to move. Going later next week.
