I would think a gym owner would want women in there lifting weights. It should inspire others to workout. Man, this last year I’ve seen the start of being a official adult in the biological sense-- three of four unicorn white white white hairs on my head, that I can see at least. Another sign that whoa I actually on that shift of life is my parents needing crazy surgery. My dad is set up for a heart valve replacement in June. He is hardcore old school type, very active and healthy for his age but still. Time moves on along…for everyone!

I did what they asked and laid out some mats that were outside for my walks. It went ok, I think I can work with that set up. Just shorter trips since the mats are not that big.

Today was a draggy day. This past week I kinda felt a bit low energy and tired from a shift in my work week due to the holiday and I am getting tired of all the busy days at both clinics. I on the recharge now but it was a long tiring week. LOTS of euthanasia on the holiday too which is always a big bummer. Old dogs too who were loved and cherished… and some bad cases. Nearly ran out of the euthanasia solution-- the drug we inject- at one clinic. :{

Sorry to hear about the rough week. Putting animals down must be very difficult. Lots of volume on the FS, very impressive. Hopefully the noise concern and scratched weights concern has gone away. Must be getting hot in Denver we were about 70 up in the hills.

Watched an old polish wt lifters video yesterday and it got me excited to try new things. I did front loaded lunges, and for me they were fair easier then back loaded. Might be easier in general or just easier since I don’t load my back much any more.

I have some lock out issues on my deads. That is my new problem. In the past its been strength off the floor, once I got it up to my knees it’d be up the rest fo the ways, now its up but I have trouble getting a good lock out when I am past knee height, still a bit slow but its better off the floor. Which makes me a bit proud to be honest!!! Having new problems means my older ones are going ok? MAYBE? ha ha! yeah sure ![]()
I know for sure more upper back strength is what I lack totally. Getting me to do back work is not easy…getting myself to do it I should say. I think the carries will help fractionally. What ev!!! I am enjoying the new challenges lifetime of lifting might offer for me.
