A short session today of 25 mins. Not a whole lotta sleep but it was for good, so I cut off some of the lifts for an extra precious 20 min nap post lifting, post Mossimo walk, before work.
20 mins can be so precious in bed before work.
JEEZ!!! I got rear ended again. Once a year I guess.
This time there’s absolutely not even near a doubt who’s fault- not mine. In a construction zone stop and go slow ass lane of traffic she just ran into my butt going about 15 miles and hour and I was not even moving. GOD.
Had to sit in the heat for over 2 hours because the other party’s very angry Ethiopian husband refused to share his information with me. His wife or girlfriend or whoever was driving the car , he wasn’t even involved in the accident or there at all until the chick called to have him come bring her her license and stuff. LONG ass drawn out deal over him plain out refusing to share his insurance info–which he has Geico just like me. Got all pissed I called the cops -since Geico told me too- when he didn’t give me his info. At one point he did let me write it down, only to grab it fomr my hands and rip it up in front of me. Yeah, that kinda thing.

But a fender bender on a boiling hot summer day is not top priority for a cop on Colfax so we waited forever for a cop to play middle man and get the dude to give me his freaking insurance stuff! And I’m not even claiming any damages!
The lady who hit me has a crumpled up hood but my car is not really messed up at all besides some cosmetic scuffs. I told her that the minute I saw it, and I told HIM that the minute I met him…but …yeah. Turns out he makes this whole story up to Geico and the cop about how the accident happened. Not really concerned about that since I have a witness and also its totally odvious. BUT STILL! Could have been tons worse but dude was making shit so much harder then it had to be.
Anywho, a bit of a headache. And of course my destination I was driving to when I got rear ended was literally across the street. Had to wait 2 hours to go visit my Pop in the hospital! He had a tricuspid valve replacement surgery Monday and is recovering very well… my sister who was visiting at the time could see out the hospital window my car and everything!! I was able to call my twin to come and help me out while she was there too!

Heavy sets felt good and strong especially when I got under the bar. That seems to predict a good outcome if I feel real tight and sturdy then. grateful for a lot today.
