Felt really good though, I stopped a few times but I got some good distance as well for a few trips. I really like these, make a BIG difference in how I feel about my body.
Not sure if I can do them with gloves…I’ll try maybe. My hands do hurt.
I had a really good day today. I got some color on my gator tattoo and had a walk with Moss, we are just chilling now . Me without shoes and him without his collar. I’m going to go ahead and claim this is as the happiest I think I’ve ever been in my life. Nothing dramatic but I am content. I am lucky! A dog, a good job that is fulfilling even if it pays shit I can support myself on my own. I feel good about my body, lifting is going well. I’m healthy and lucky, and so fortunate. Its mainly the dog I think that’s making me so happy
He causes a cascade of good turns in my life choices.
I know it might not be forever but it does feel like a sustainable form of contentment. I can sustain it.

Today came with a noise complaint from a grumpy old man. My zerchers were too loud–and they really were not that loud at all, I didn’t use enough wt to make it loud. It bothers me so much because I really do make a point to be courteous in the gym–but COME ON!!!
FUCK YOU OLD FART! I didn’t say it, I just looked at him in astonishment and walked away. One of hose moments were its just me and one other person in the wt room, and I highly doubt he would have asked If I had to had “to make so much clanging noise” if I was a 32 year old guy instead of a 32 year old woman, because his ears just “couldn’t take it”. fuck you and your stupid calve raises and yellow shoes grumpy old man get outta the wt room if a bar makes too much noise for you.

HOWEVER i guess I truly am a bit of a nuisance at the gym for real. I got scolded on taking iron plates outside because they would get scratched…UGh. It was the owner who I’ve never talked to before but he’s the damn owner so I have to submit.
Yeah so It totally ruined the rest of my carry session today. Not sure how I feel about this besides pissed off but I concede to doing what they ask using bumper plates which I’d think would be worse on the bumper plates…?
…and also setting the wt down on a mat instead of the concrete when I stop…iron plates…getting scratched up. I guess it could crack…,the concrete of a wild messed up rear unused parking lot… They are not pristine plates ones to begin with but I will not get kicked out of this gym over it. He paid for all the plates so…I guess they are dollar signs in his eyes. All the … are my depiction of …questionable thoughts.

An observation too for me is I’ve noticed some of the trainers- not all but a handful- when they are training their personal trainee people seem to get touchy around me. I swear to god I don’t do anything but put my wts away and do my lifts! I don’t monopolize things!! And besides the zerchers, I don’t make noise! Not even grunts!!! But they seem annoyed and give me kinda strange snobby looks of annoyance. Its only when they have people with them owever. WORD? I pay to go here to man! I am not a trouble maker!!! The owner was working with a client when I came in and I feel he was eyeballing me the whole time! Why?! DON’T KICK ME OUT!! I’m sorry!!
I’m ranting here because no one else will understand! I swear to you I am totally not a jerk at the gym!!
