Check your PM’s lady.

Texi–> That makes a lot of sense. I defiantly have some loose arms there. …which make me squeeze my knees in to help lift off. AND I do tend to trap it up when I get tired at the top of the lift.

Those are some great pointers!!! Its all starting to make sense now!! :D!!! HAMMIES!

AND! The toes out bit is way true…I just recently moved my toes from the full on streight position to slightly out., and it made differance. Toes out more!!

Seriously! Thank you for pointing those things out! Its adding up in my mind as I type this!! :D!!

**Lightbulbs!![/quote]

Yay! Just… yay.

AWW SORE HANDS!! Now that’s something I can relate to!

I am OCD so not only am I an anxious skin-around-my-nails biting FREAK, but I also clean stuff and shower too often, so I get these little bloody cuts all around my nails. Sometimes it hurts just to type or click my mouse button.

There is no amount of hand lotion that could save me…

Nice work in here lady!!

Arachne! Its coming together! Today on my fronties I told my knees out out on sticking points and low and behold the wt when up, and my back did NOT take over but my ass. So awesome!!

Spock–YES!!! I scour shit too all the time!

Lotion just hurts sometimes more then aides. I don’t care and now that I think of it my gloves probably do limit my grip strenght progression in deads…but my life outside of the gym is unfortunately the vast majority of my hours alive.

Being crippled and burdened with lobster bleeding throbbing hand skin is dangerous! I could be taken advantaged of easily with my paralyzing hand pain.

AND BLINDED. Putting in contact lenses with splintered fingertips, where the finger prints part of your fingers are oozing serum and blood-- that fucking saline solution burns. I’ve had my hands cupped with saline in the palms mid-clense with contacts trapped in the pool of saline in…agony… Horrible.

Chalk hurts them as well :{ the gloves help me protect and hold shit too when my hands are in a deplorable state of agony.

Sorry I’m pretty enthusiastic about my hand protection!

HEY COYOTE!!! Thanks for stopping by!!!

today
sheiko 37 day 3
fronties 115x5, 145x4x2sets, 185x3x6 sets, x2 x 2 sets.
a bunch of benching per the rogram taht is just so long and ardjuius to relay.
revamped back squats. Did a slightly less wider stance but still wide. EVERY rep was me telling my knees out out out out …low and behold the wt went up.

No exciting wt just worked on instruction to my knees
135x5, 155x5, 175x5, 185x2, 205x2

I still was supposed to do flies and seated gm’s but I wanted to get some conditioning in.
18 mins stepmill…again my mp3 died 10 mins in.

last night’s pull up party : 10 sets of 4. Widened my grip more again so I can have a better grip on my pull up bar thing. Its hard to notice if you’re not me and have been looking at myself in the mirror for 30 years, but I’m getting wings  AND lil bitty upper back muscles. :)!!!

Its coming together!!

YES! Nice pull ups!!! I’m super excited that you’re killing those!!

Nice work on the squats! Are you doing the meet at the end of the month or are you going to wait?

Hey Texi!! I just noticed the pm! lemme check it out!

LULA–> um. Pull up coach just told me next weeks assignment is ten sets of 5. !!! FIVE. HOLY COW. I better get em too.
no meet this month, I’m not organized enough. And my squat is in the works still! dl too…well, everything is!

Great vid Brute! You are so inspiring!

Yay for wings and back muscles. That’s the first thing I noticed when I started training and still check it out all the time. My goal is the have erectors that you could park a truck between.

Somehow I think your back is bigger than you see just due to the fact that you pull like a beast.

OMG! Such awesome lifting going on it here! I agree with everything Tex said about your DLs. It was a little scary watching your knees cave like that. I want to see you lifting big ass weight for years to come!

I’m amazed I’ve still got my account, much less post!

Ouro, I liked that line right there. Good description.

Thanks Pixie and O and Beastio. Yes…I will post as long as I can. But beware for more fb vids…

hmm. i’m very interested in the toes out / knees out idea…

i’d have thought the idea would be to narrow up the stance a bit. so the ankles are under the knees are under the hips with the toes pointing straight ahead.

how come not that???

you are getting well and truly ahead of me with your chins!! i’ve stalled rather (got fatter, got a crappier bar, lifting in non-ideal conditions etc)…

sets of 5?? wowee!!

Time for a workout update, missy!

Toes out are more so your knee can track properly and it gives a little bit more leeway for your hips to get into a proper position. Also gives you a slightly more stable base to work off of, IMO

Toes out=knees outta the way=torso dropping between knees=accommodating bar position over mid-foot and shoulders (leverage) farther back

Hey Spocky! I have no news to report just yet. Going in to lift in a bit. Horrendous nights of work, power outages, lame.

I’m keeping my log here, if I log in 5 years I’ll head to the over 35’s… If it gets to be a ghost town oh well…I get my needs met

today
front sq 125x5, 145x4 x2 sets, 175x3 x3 x 2 sets, 190x2, 195x2, 190x2 x 3 sets
bench 95x5, 105x4, 115x3x2 sets, 135x2, 120x2 x 5 sets
fronties 135x3, 155x3, 175x3 x4 sets
gms 135 x 15 x 2sets
will do the flies and stuff monday ran out of time.

Work has been kicking my ass. The busy season is upon the emergency vets.

oh. i thought one was stronger for deadlift thinking of standing on legs like stilts. eliminating the need for lateral stability as much as possible… might make balance a bit trickier… but if you lean yourself back and the weight is heavy enough.

?

actually i must be on the wrong track because of the whole utility of sumo pulling thing. my confusion. sorry.
