That’s a great training day. Split pants are okay. Shit pants not as good. I once peed a bit on the gym floor doing a deadlift. Okay it’s happened a couple of times (darn childbirth). You just carry on. There’s not much you can do about some things.

Dani! I do live in Denver. Its a cool place to live, not the cheapest but not the most expensive. But a beautiful place. What kinda field are you in jobwise? This is a really active fit city, so trainers and the like tend to get jobs. LOTS of people looking to be active and sporty.
no training today. Just eating free goat cheese and wandering the super markets this morning before work. Cleaning up dog hair etc.

I peed my pants badly once DLing. My coach said, “Oh, that’s nothing” and then proceeded to tell me about some IPF Worlds where he was head ref. The first woman on the platform peed when she squatted. The second woman on the platform peed when she squatted. And the third woman projectile vomited.

today was just some misc stuff. tried to bench and it was shit! did a new 5/3/1 dl thing but really, nothing to be excited about.
HOWEVER. I admit…those round plates come up fast! I wish my back was feeling it more because eI’d have really loved to tear up some deadsos. Later this week it’ll be! I have a friend staying over at my place the last few days and my schedule’s a lil off. I do want a nice, lovely deadso day…soon!

I’m surprised the belt doesn’t do anything for you. It’s a night and day difference for me. Someone (I think maybe Cbear) posted a video once showing how a belt should fit and how it should function that was really helpful when I bought a new belt.
I haven’t peed or pooped during deadlifts but I have most definitely farted. Once, quite loud, in front of a Polish guy. Oh dear.
I can’t get on with belts either. I think my hip bones are too high so I can’t actually get the belt to sit low enough to protect my back. All it does is dig into my solur plexus. Do not want.
I has gotten horrendously behind in here and all of PW in general no more missing out on my favorite place and favorite ladies. Jumping back in for 2012 yayeeeeeee!

Cal–I have the same issue! it digs into my hip hones!, basically is a huge distraction :{ I’d like to try one though. I had Snap’s belt for a while and it did actually help a few times when last year when I really had some trouble with loss of strength…but that was about 10 pounds ago! And yeah I wanna try one bad!

If you want to try my TAPERED lever belt, I can send it down to RMLC with my coach for you to give it a go while I’m rehabbing. At least you’ll know if you like it or not.

I AM about this close to splitting my pants. Mainly cuz I’ve gained approximately 372 pounds during the last week though. Hoping it helps my maxes. Fuckyeah!
Brute what type of mastiff is Nigel I can’t remember. My mom used to have an English best most awesomest dog in the damn History! Pretty inherently (sp?) Lazy though and didn’t require much in the way of walks.
