Impressive deadlifts - just watch the hyperextension at the top. Was it cold in the gym that day? You seem to be wearing a lot more than usual!

today was an odd day. last night was a slow night at work, so i ended up drinking quite a large amount of double brewed starbucks coffee.i think i got over caffeinated to the point where its no good for coordination, and almost drowsy energized. but ok for somethings. overhead squats not really.

overheads 95x5,115x8, 125x8, 135x5, 115x8 then i realized its not going to be a good day to do them. so i benched

benching 125x6 --i think that’s a PR, 130x3-definitely a PR, 140 THANK GOD. five pounds away for my all time best bench. i have hope!

then 125x5, x4,x4,x4,x3
db benching 45’s x10,x8,x8, fail at getting 50’s up, 40’s a 11

then i hit an odd lack of fine motor control. I figured its better to stop trying with the wts and go mindless so i did elipitcal for 20 mins, followed with HIIT dodoads one minute on fire pace, 30 seconds regular pace 10 sets.

on a very positive note, I had a work meeting to get to, whihc woudl have sucked had i NOT scored 7 free chipotle burritos. chicken and steak- left over forma staff lunch. WOOOOOORRD. I look forward to picking them apart, giving the huge wads of beans and rice to the ducks at my apartment complex, and falling into a seasoned meat coma. my eyes are twitichin’

Ha, I got over caffeinated last night too, didn’t pass out til 9am, super twitchy. I love how you did 5 sets of overheads before you realized it wasn’t a good day. lol. We are volume opposites.

MiM- you are strong–those 50’s were not budging past my chest at all. and the chipotle was rather disappointing. out 6 dissected burritos i had about two quarts of beans and rice and maybe a cup and a half of meat, and maybe a total of one cut up tomato. I don’t like rice or beans…but free is free.

front squats 135x12,x10,10,10,x9,x9,x8,x7,x7
tried overheads again but no real go. 95x5

squats- trying to count to ten at the bottom-135, 185,225, as long as i could at 246, 265 which wasn’t all that long
then 280, 290, 300, a very high 310, then an ok 300.

one legged squats 115x5/leg, 125x5/leg,135x5/leg.
then supersetted one legged squats 115x5/leg (total of 4 sets) with chest supported rows, straight arm press downs, tricep cable things 8-12 reps total of three sets
elliptical for 20 mins, 11 sets of HITT 30 seconds regular pace, 1 minute on.

now that i look at this,i think i’m getting squat morning disease again :frowning: I dunno.

Woman! I am impress! Realtalk: You are bull strong. You have so much raw talent and a healthy dose of motivation. I feel your form could be more efficient. I don’t mean that as criticism (I know my form needs work too), I just feel you have a lot of potential you’re not yet expressing. I wish I had the expertise and lived in close enough proximity to be your coach. Lol. It would be so exciting.

Was that squat video taken after all that deadlift volume? It could be that your lower back was just really fatigued. Squats make an excellent warm up for deadlifts, since similar muscles are used and whatnot, but I generally hear to avoid deadlifting before squatting because a tired lower back can cause problematic form degradation.

squat vid was taken today, after front squatting…could be part of it. i feel like i do better squatting when i’m slightly sore my quads-- i don’tknwo why :{. I did try some squats after dl earlier this week though, but not this vid.

can’t watch the squat vid from work but checked out the DL vid last night. Can’t say anything on the form that hasn’t been said and you REALLY got AT THOSE GIRL! Lots of reps an I started scrolling down and the vid wasn’t on my screen when you started making noise. It was pretty sexy.
