hey snapper!–well they are sorta bumper type…i might have the term wrong orthinking of the wrong piece of equipment.

but they have foamer texture and set apart area at one of the racks. its the 24hour on Hampden and Tamarac in the Whole foods, across the street from the old Tiffany plaza.

i’d suggest watching a bunch of video of olympic cleans. you’re definitely taking the slack out of your arms way too soon. see how you’re starting the pull with your elbows already bent?

a medley of straight arm press downs, tricep cable things, lat pull downs, chest supported rows,db flies…i did about 3 sets of 8-10 for each. i was distracted :frowning:

My arm seems all swollen and i’m hoping to GOD its not my tattoo reacting again :frowning: I just got it worked on Wednesday and it was just feeling tight and looking swollen…NOOOOOOOO.

I could have probably done rows but i panicked about my tattoo and my swollen upper arm. So i did some elliptical x 20 mins, then HITT elliptical for 11 sets 1 min on 30 seconds regular pace.

Okay. I’m slightly pissed because I have asked at the 24s in town if there was a facility with round plates or a place to drop weights and have been consistently told “no.” Hence, I bought another gym membership. I even asked about that Tiffany Plaza site. End rant.

Man, you have a genetic gift to put up that kind of volume day in and day out. What kind of rest are you taking between bench sets and how long are you in the gym?

And, yeah, the sense of style (gym garb) is very cool. I’d be interested if I weren’t straight, married, and old.

I have a bar at home i can try too, but no real mirror to watch my form. I’d love to learn the right way! My work schedule’s a complete disaster however and hopefully will soon change.

and that sucks about you having to get a 2nd membership—i never really gave those plates much thought after trying to dl with them but it wasn’t flying so i totally ignored them… i hadn’t realized i could use them for other things until last week :stuck_out_tongue:

hey bobbi! well, i’ve since dropped back to a four day workout week which has been better the last two weeks. but i do have to assess my recovery on a daily freaking basis–mostly due to sleep and not having enough.

Also, I’m lucky that i live a very simple, low stress life…with minimal drama in all areas. I usually do a lap around the wt room area in between sets, if i’m excited i walk fast. :slight_smile:

I just watched the video of you muscling up 135 (?). Damn, you could clean a house if you knew how. You should spend an hour with an oly coach and see what happens :wink:
