x2 for wrist wraps ! wrist are one of my weak links and 24" wraps can cast them real well.

i shall have to check out the wraps, any suggestions on where to pick them up?

today–i’m tired. i’m getting fed up with be short staffed by 25% every night at work…and having a full ICU and tons and tons of stray kittens., and the usual plethora of summer emergency triages. and parvo. and a possible plague cat.

that’s it! kind of a lack luster couple weeks energy wise. having a bit of trouble getting quality sleep and enough quantity sleep as well. oh well, in a few weeks i’ll have three days off a week! so exciting! and also two new people hired on to replace the three we need. yei!

supposed to dead lift today but i’mtootired. got all dressed and …just can’t make it to the gym.

i think i need some carbs. my finances have been tight so i’ve been living on chicken breasts and mustard for a bit…so…no…go… :stuck_out_tongue:

deadlifts 275x4,x4,x3, 275x3, 280x2, 285x2, 275x2, 280x2, 285x2, 290x 1.5, 275x3, i’m not really sure but just a bunch of sets of others,mainly 2-3reps. i haven’t been able to get much out of 275 in quite a while…its not my PR, but its also not bad-- i feel like i could have gotten more out of the first set which i usually make my money one–next time!

rev. alt. lunges 135x8.leg, x7.leg, x7/leg, 145x5/leg, x4/leg
good am’s 135x12x3 sets, 145x6

some misc deads 225x6
then i tried sumo style 135, 185, 225, 245, 265, 275–which went up fine but my balance was scary, nearly fell over backwards a bit :stuck_out_tongue: sumo is not my style!

Snapper! I of course have you lovely belt too, which i have not used much, but its in good shape should you need it back! I haven’t tried any maxed out dl’s in a while, and I’m saving it for when i have access to some round plates again…hoping i can get a nice surprise.

I think I’m going to give it a go with the wraps, I might just pick some up since they seem to be pretty helpful for the awfulness that is benching :{ I appreciate the offer Snapper! but i think i shall now get some of my own–WORD.

I just don’t really know where or what is legal for raw usapl? which i could find out probably in ten seconds on the internet–so i will do that now . I’m tinkering with competing in November, but i don’t know yet :slight_smile: if i do i will pay for a month of rmlc so i have some decent equiptment to mess with before hand.

came to the harsh conclusion that i need to actually do back stuff. which i HATE and never have really done.so alas, the climb begins

also muisc machine work. i never do machines, but i figure its better to do a machine exercise for my delts and triceps and whatever then nothing. which is how i roll. i highly doubt i’ll ever like any of these things. oh well.

If you’re concerned about USAPL-approved gear, ask Dan. He can probably order stuff for you or at least steer you in the right direction.

Are you thinking about the November NASA meet? Otherwise, USAPL has the state meet in December at RMLC. Wish I could do it, but no way will I be strong enough.

hey n! i have a goal for one legged squats–135…for however many i can…i want that bad !

other goals- of course body wt bench…but i’m not holding my breath for that. i also want my dl back, and my squat back–which i hope will come! also i’d love a 135 over head squat of whatever many i can do–just looks so pretty on the bar …swoon…

oh and i suppose some decent bent over rows too. blehht.

I dunno…i still have a good couple months on my usapl membership, so i’d like to do something with it. but i 'm not sure. i’d love to do a one event meet–as in not benching!- and i think there is a deadlift one in december or november. I’m not really training for anything, just still struggling to get my old strenght back.
