I don’t know. I don’t know who else is reffing or anything, but he didn’t ask me to come early, when I asked him what the hours would be. He might have someone.

Well, i will be waiting and waiting until probably a few hours before to decide if i will compete. I really want too, but its $65, I’m not really happy with my numbers right now as well…yet i feel like i need to go! Also work schedule is interfering.

My hours are 11pm to 7:40am. And i really can’t say whether I’ll be off in time. Or not too frazzled and worn out form working all night. My supervisor already is pissed at me for not coming in last night–i had the night scheduled off, but apparently we were really busy and she wanted me to come in and work for some overtime. I’ve had it with her and I’m burnt out anyways, so i seed “uh…nah”. Screw her. Might make her hold it against me because she THAT mature when i ask if i can leave in time to make it.

Ehh.

To my supervisors credit, she did give me the option of leaving at 6am Saturday night/Sunday morning at about 5am–after a harrowingly busy night of triages and high patient load in ICU–I opted to stay and not compete instead. I was too exhausted and worn out so no meet on Sunday. :frowning: OH WELL!

Obviously not meant to be, the whole process of training for both meets was not a total lost. I weighed in with all my clothes shoes and stuff at 156 (!) on Saturday night after doing a half assed water depletion attempt just in case i did compete. So i did loose some fluff…now its on to repair and get my strength back. No real goals other then return to former numbers and go beyond! I’d like to stay this size too, i need to work on my upper body ALOT however.

i lie–i do have a goal of getting some nice overhead squats! i haven’t done them in nearly two months! i miss them!!

hey snapper! I am gradually weaning myself out from a flair up of Cardio Madness Disease.

I get it every now and then–say every year and a half to 24months or so where i go cardio crazy and get a bit addicted to it. I’m slowly but surely going to taper it down…a small branch of madness from my past that comes up when i am anxious or stressed out. :stuck_out_tongue:
