the night before last was full of hallucinations, feverish chills, nauseous weirdness…just typical dramatic flu AWFUL
I fell like i’ve been dragged thru a field! bruised all over and beaten! WAHHH!!
needless to say its been a napping, couch, fluid drinking weekend for me. I’m just happy i got sick on my days off so i won’t miss work. lame but convenient. i dunno when i’ll start working out again, maybe tomorrow.
my twin is fraternal! she’s a bit shorter, brown hair, brown eyes–also a complete genius. REALLY–she’s incredibility smart–i brag about her because she’s a total genius but way cool about it. She was at my meet so you might have met her Snapper:)
MEL–I am so jealous! i don’t think i’m going to have any chiro work in the near future

Uneven hips could be caused by several things; it could be anatomical, as in you were born with it. It could caused by your body compensating for a problem elsewhere, say in your lower back. With limited funds, your best options would be to stretch and foam roll emphasizing on your IT bands, glutes, hip flexors. Get in there with a tennis ball, painful but effective.

Iliotibial band…runs along the side of your thigh. It’s amazing how much trouble that little thing can cause! I’ve noticed my squats are wAAY better when I foam roll those before I lift…
I also don’t think you’re anatomically short,your body’s just compensating for a fixated ilium/sacrum.

i managed to get to the gym and even do some single squats.
I’ve now decided on my first 2 attempts for the meet in July. I figure if i can manage them at 80% of feeling normal then word!

i’m thinking 260-265 for a first, and 280 or 285 whatever kilo thingie for a second attempt. in the next few days its dead lift and bench thought process…i still have some time, but i am a nerd ![]()

Your 24 Hour gym should have foam rollers. Look by the stretch mats and med balls. Thick PVC piping works well too.
