Question for the big boys…
Ok actually eating solid food is becoming more and more annoying. I find myself relying on shakes pretty often now. It seems that by the time I finish a meal I’m immediately hungry again and have to have a shake to take the edge off. I guess I could always try and eat faster, but it’s just really annoying. I completely stay away from low calorie foods like chicken because of this now, it just seems pointless.
Like I just ate 2 lbs of sirloin, yah it took me about an hour to eat, but I never felt satisfied at all from beginning to end lol. /end rant and off to make an EVOO and whey shake for the 5th time today!
welcome to my life brother.
the worst is when you’re lying in bed and you just want to sleep but you know that if you dont eat youre just going to lay there for hours.
Live bro that is the absloute worst feeling ever. I can nt sleep if I’m even remotely close to hungry.
Way dude I’m hungry all the fucking time. I get looks when I eat 4-5 burgers and say I could go for more. Only thing that fills me are starchy carbs like potatoes. If I make a bunch of eggs and hash browns or a steak and a few baked potatoes I’d be set for a couple hours.

Speaking of old cartoons. Did anyone ever watch that cartoon that was basically based on monsters playing sports?
All I can really remember is the main character was a skeleton named Bones or something and his other skeleton buddies played against other monster people in soccer/volleyball (and possibly did other stuff that I can’t remember).
This probably makes no sense but that was my favorite show ever and then one day it disappeared
There was also another fucking awesome cartoon about animals that morphed into things. I remember the main guy was a gorilla and there was a cheetah also. Come on I know someone can figure this out! lol (and no it wasn’t thundercats)
Mutant League and Animorphs ftw!
Fuck yea Mutant League that’s what is was, good call, thanks bud.
I’m not entirely sure the other one was animorphs but I could be wrong.

I used to have this problem really really bad, here is how you fix it:
You need to take in a lot of food in the morning, I mean a lot of food, also, take in a lot of carbs before 2, this will mellow out your cravings in the afternoon and night and will allow you to eat regular portions.
I mean fuck my breakfast is 10 whole eggs and 2 cups oatmeal, and that’s already a bitch and a half to eat!

This may sound really stupid, but do you eat while watching tv? It helps me eat more haha
Watching TV while eating makes me eat slower and not more. I find that if I sit down with the intent to eat as fast as possible and to stuff my face I do a lot better.
Scarf as much meat as possible as fast as possible(no homo!). Then snack on the veggies the rest of the time. Veggies never fill my stomach and I find I can keep eating them w/o getting full. Veggies + Blue Cheese dressing = WIN!

I’m the same, but its probably good that your body doesn’t let you sleep hungry.
Way, I sometimes just have a huge glass of milk to help, but protein is probably better. You don’t drink milk anymore anyway right? Chicken is the worse though, you can spend 45-60mins eating and not feel full at the end. Gayest thing ever.

i do the same thing. i like cant multi-task in the least. so sometimes if i notice im not eating how i should be i just go into the kitchen and get it done. what i can eat in the kitchen in 5 minutes takes me like 30 in the living room.

Have you started your ‘gift pack’??
You do know that one of the trinity in particular is notorious for severely increasing appetite & hunger pains. I’d look into increasing your carbs.
Nuts may help too, maybe try a handful after each meal.
Otherwise try eating some junk food after your regular meal. Just don’t over do it.
I also find it easy to have a shake first then eat my meal.
Try adding psyllium and/or milled seeds to your shakes as well as the evoo.

x17 on the chicken
I actually have a full glass or so a day when I’m not hungry enough to make a meal or feel like having a shake

At the moment I’m only using 1/3 of the stuff and I’m at 4 1/2 weeks. Seeing as it takes this one 4 weeks to start “working” I think I’m just going to chalk it up to that, I’ll just work on eating more since tren is notorious for decreasing appetite and that starts at week 6.
Of course this is all hypothetical nonsense about my friend in mexico
205x5
235x5
255x5 a rep PR for this weight, but I got 265x5 3 weeks ago, today was just one of those days. If it happens again next week we gonna have problems
DB bench
80x5
90x5
100x5 +1 on those, so thats good
cable fly
25xdead+negatives
incline bench curl
25x12
30x8
35x5 and negatives, felt the burn like a fat women who didn’t wait for he soup to cool down
ez bar curl
60x7…5…2 negatives
hammer curl
30xfailx2 negatives each arm
notes: bench was gay today, form was all off and the reps looked atrocious, lets see how it goes next week. DB bench snagged me another rep, but it was ugly, but I couldn’t even get the 100s up for the 5th last time.
curls were great, pretty much no rest between sets and exercises, great pump and it was quick and easy.
that may not look like much but given the fact that my hamstrings were dead and my upper back was also sore from SLDLs the day before i was pretty impressed with myself. it’s the lowest height i’ve ever pulled from so im getting pretty confident that i could pull 5 plates off the floor for reps soon enough. another month or so of these and i think ill start going from the floor again.
Iso High Row
4 plates + 25
x8
x8 (right arm) x7 (left arm)
Shrugs
495x 12
Cable Row
250
x10
x8
my form on these starts off really strict the few reps then it kind of goes downhill but form is kind of overrated if you havent noticed already.
what’s bodybuilding really? having the best body. difference is that at a bodybuilding show you have higher competition. if bodybuilding was basketball it’d be a pickup street-game as soon as anyone else is near you. at the gym, it’s trying to get the heaviest numbers, the biggest weights. who can put more pounds on the barbell? or it’s a 24 hour battle against the top dog at the gym, the biggest guy there. you want to beat him you want to be number one.
bodybuilding is called a lifestyle for a reason. it doesn’t end when the buzzer sounds it’s with you every living breathing moment of your life, its a competition that doesn’t end.
the only downside to bodybuilding is that not enough people get it.
theres so many good things about it and they outweigh all the bad.
bodybuilding is the only sport you can spot another player in as soon as they’re withen eyesight. and right off the bat you know you have something in common.
So I don’t check off-topic too much usually and I just saw this in a thread in there. Thought it was a great read and figured everyone in here would enjoy it. Also wanted to give my props to Live on it…some powerful words in there, and I completely agree.
decent leg day…
Went to a different gym because they have a V-squat and I wanted to do these again.
V-squat:
5pps x 8
Leg press:
8pps x 9
6pps x 20
The foot plate on this is angled a bit too much so I have to work on my foot position…
Leg curl: this one is easier than my regular gym’s
140 x 13+7+4 = 24RP
also threw in 20 minutes of a quick walk on an incline.
I’m thinking about alternating two leg days and need a little input:
day 1 would be two sets of sumo deads, 6-8 then 9-12 roughly
then i’d hit up leg press, either 6-8 then widow or just the widow (then ham work).
day 2 would be what I did above.
Anyone think that sumo deads would be a decent addition on leg days?
I got a small pump in my quads last time I did them (2 sets; 6-8 then 9-12). They will definitely hit my hips and ass, build up my lower back and work my abs + forearms, and also hit the traps a little which I REALLY need/want to build up. I want to do sumos at my regular gym because it’s easier that way (PL friendly gym - no stupid ‘trainers’ or management giving me a hard time). This gym doesn’t have much in the way of machines so the only other one I could do is leg press, which I think would be fine for that day. The other one has the v-squat and leg press so i’m good to go there.
MeinHerzBrennt - your forearms are stupid big, I am jealous. They look just about as big as your upper arm in that pic…mine are so NOT like that.
You ever do much direct work for them or just lucky and they grow with everything else? I’m gunna have to start hitting some boring ass wrist curls and stuff I think.
