That’s more potent than steroids!

Just got done eating some beef jerky, damn I love that stuff. I’m outta here soon and then hittin’ the gym.

You’re wrong.

Check this stuff out, its so strong that it apparently cause Jay Cutler to grow some kind of thick steel shell.

“I’m looking for Sarah Connor.”

JB, you might surprise yourself and put ON some size. Supercompensation is a wonderful thing.

I havent been posting my training in here but I have been putting everything in my blog. I will be updating in here soon though.

Keep hittin it hard boys

E, ive been reading your blog, good stuff, as a trainer, i really like seeing how you work with your clients.

I’ll try not to rip ya off too much man.

Day A2 July 25, 2008
Db incline bench 90’s 10x0x3 (13rp)
HS shoulder press 1p+35/side 13x5x3 (21rp)
PJR pullover 80 11x4x3 (18rp)
Wide lat pulldowns 150 10x4x4 (18rp)
HS Yates row 2p+20/side x6 2p/side x10

Threw some face pulls at the end. Light weight for high reps for some prehab. Felt good on everything pretty much.

The db presses should have been a little lighter because I couldn’t budge them on the first rest pause, ended up taking a little more time and got 3 more.

It was also probably my best form on pulldowns ever, really contracted the lats hard for a good pause.

Beef Jerky…I accidentally cooked a steak to the consistency of jerky today, I was reading T-Nation and left it on the stove a bit too long. Took almost an hour to chew all that tough goodness, but there was no way I was wasting it. Not with the price of food these days.

Super psyched about going for 295x20 tomorrow, after that hopefuly the next workout will be 300x20…landmark for sure.

So today was another day feeling a bit over-worked but I pushed myself anyway. Looking forward to these 2 days off followed by my new routine on Monday which will be much better recovery wise.

SLDL warmups:

135 x 10
185 x 5
225 x 5
275 x 3

Deadlift:

315 x 1
335 x 1
355 x 1
365 x 1
385 x 1 - this felt almost as heavy as when I pulled 405…was frustrating but I know the cause.

Romanian Deadlift:

225 x 12
275 x 10
315 x 7

Roman Chair w/ 1-2sec. hold at top:

BW x 12
+45 x 10
+45 x 10
+45 x 10

Did some forearms followed by extreme stretching for the forearm for the full 90seconds - I was twitching around wanting to let go so bad!

This just made me realize I totally spaced hamstring stretching, oops.

Just got back from seeing the dark knight - it was badass!

Good to see all the new blood in here.

Dre my man…hows it going dude? Good to see you back.

Got involved in my first strongman session today. Great fun…especially the tire flips. Looking forward to makin it a staple of my training.

Over all training is picking up steam again.Recovered from a few minor injuries and eating small villages.

On a side note…POKER NIGHT tonight.

Hit that Iron fellas

Oisin

This was yesterdays session

Legs

Single-leg vertical Leg press
122x12²,12²

DB Standing Calf Raises
30x30, 40x30,30…these are done in three phases, 10 reps from the stretch position, 10 from the flexed position and 10 full ROM. Done bare foot.

BB Romanian deadlift
75x12, 95x12,12

A1. Vertical Leg press
327x15,15,13
A2. DB Deep Step-up
60²x6,6,6

Alrighty, today I said to myself “screw 295, I’m hitting 300 today!” So I took 2 Spike tabs instead of 1, then got to work:

Squats:
125x5
225x4
300x20
[rest about 5 minutes, then…]

Bench:
125x5
175x4
270x3
175x5 (speed work…which I realized I need desperately, even the 175 was going up slowish, despite feeling light…so I think that’s what’s holding my bench back)

Dumbbell Shoulder Press:
70’sx8

Dips:
bwx21

Plan is to do just speed work every other bench day…so I guess technically I’ll be alternating DE and ME sessions on bench. Not sure if I should stick with 20 rep squats still, take a little break from them, then continue, or what. Maybe I’ll shoot for 21 reps with 300 next week…keep on trying to increase by 1 rep a session. A 30+ rep squat with 300 would be cool.

OMC, good to see you’re still kickin’.

Take care dudes.

Damn congrats h4m - I hate you though, just fyi.

I’ve posted a whole one time on this so far. I found out a few days ago I’m playing football (transfered to a bigger school to start, imagine that) so I’m going to include some Oly lifts back in, I’ve really just been lifting for size lately. I’ll update when I get back.

Where you gonna be playing Kulturkampf?

How long did it take you to crank those out?

I live in WV, and go to a single A school (smallest division) and I’m transferring to Marietta High School across the river for my senior year. We have about 550 kids at my home school, and we’re I’m going there’s over 1000. Kinda funny, because my old coach told me I wasn’t gonna start, so I went to a bigger school where I can start.

Qaash it took 2 1/2 minutes or so. Extremely rough, but every single one was good depth, at LEAST 1-2 inches below parallel. That part of it made me proud of myself haha.

KK what position are ya?

Good luck with starting, sounds like fun.

They run a modified wing-T, with the QB back in shotgun with the FB. I’ll be a wingback and middle or outside linebacker. I think I would prefer MLB though. Thanks, I’m pretty excited.

JB, dont worry bout ripping off. thats what its there for.

hungry…i got light headed when i saw those squat numbers…keep it up thats some sick shit.

had legs today…i decided to switch things up a little and really focus on the hams today. i havent pulled from the floor in a few months and it REALLY showed.
ive been focusing on the rack deads and have neglected the floor.

Deads: 5x5
315, 365, 315, 315, 315
those numbers were humbling…time to focus on them again.

leg extensions: 3 sets
170 x 20
170 x 18
170 x 20

seated calf raise: 4 sets

short and sweet, my hams are already kicking in.

keep it up boys.
