This was just one of those days. I got to the gym late because I had to wait for my sister. On the military presses, the 4th rep probably took longer than the first 3 but the person that I ahd recording screwed up so I didn’t get it. Anyway, one more day of training and I get the weekend off and it’s to LA!
I did get the dips though (I had at least another3 or 4 in the tank though)

Nothing right now… I think my problem with HFT is not being able to force myself to eat enough, thus energy suffers… This seems to be my biggest set back really.
What are your goals?
I want to gain as much mass/strength as I can… lol, I know, “gotta eat!”
I don’t really know what program to follow… I could do this one if I could get myself to just eat enough.
What exactly is holding you back? Comfort? The food bill?

Just the mental side man… Its all mental… Just feel like shit and worried about getting fat

I hear ya man but, you’d be surprised how lean you can stay. I’m eating 5000 calories a day and I’m still fairly lean (with no cardio)
Sorry guys. The front squats were a typo. it was supposed to be 225x5. I don’t know how I wrote that.

Good quick session today for some reason. I was weaker than I thought on the rack deads though. I tried straps after I got 3 but it wouldn’t ahve helped. I was gassed. I think my strength on the BB curls are going down too. I don’t know, maybe I’m jsut a little overtrained from 4 days in a row. There won’t be any updates from me until Monday as I am going to a seminar in LA this weekend. I can;t wait.
You are doing well, Brendan. I am not partial to lifting so much as you’re doing, but it is working, is it not ?
On another note, I was reading that you use Tribulus (you mean Tribulus by Tribby, right ?) and ZMA. I am using a ZMA and I like the results. I wake up well-rested and fresh and am pretty much always in a good mood on waking. I guess I was magnesium and zinc deficient (I read the Poliquin ‘Question of Strength’ from today which is September 18th).
But my question is about Tribulus; how do you find it’s working for you ? What kind of results are you getting and what effects as far as mood etc ? You’re like 18 or 19, my age, I think you said so your results are of interest. They say you really don’t need Tribulus so young, but, a little legal push seldom hurts.

I actually cycled back off it. The restuls are pretty mild to be honest.

To anyone that has yet to attend a seminar, I highly reccomend you do so. You have the oppurtunity to speak to the presenters one on one and they are all VERY cool. I have even more respect for JB now than I did before (he’s always been my favorite author). If you went to the seminar, post your name and any pictures if you have it. (I know your reading this Kevin!)
This is Berardi and I

This is the presenter’s roundtable
Left to right is:
Dan John, Alwyn Cosgrove, John Berardi, Eric Cressey, Mike Roberston, Julia Ladewski, and Jesee Burrdock.

Impromptu 7pm olympic lifting session with Dan John.

and finally me and alwyn cosgrove
