Branden Ray... It Won't Be Long

Brandon Ray seems alright, but what annoys me is seeing him in all of my magazines when he is not even a pro yet. Him and Troy brewer. It seems like they just pick certain guys to create some hype over…There are probably tons of other guys that could use a pictorial or two who are just as good or better and probably more deserving.

Think you’re confusing Branden Ray with Brandon Curry. Also, it’s Trey Brewer.[/quote]

While this is possible, Brandon Curry is a pro.

Oh, didn’t know that. IFBB? Honestly don’t follow bodybuilding that closely, but remember seeing Curry and Brewer in ads together. Just figured he got confused.

Yeah, he got his pro card last year but he was already all over the advertisements when he was still an amateur. I still think you may be right because I wouldn’t call Branden Ray “in all of the magazines”. It’s mostly just MD because he has a contract with them when Brandon Curry IS in all of the magazines.

Curry and Brewer both have contracts with BSN. That is why they are in all BSN ads.

Great vid! But if I were to guess the age of that vid based on the music in the background, I’d have thought it was at least 10 years old! lol Old Tool, old Oasis, Nirvana, old Offspring!

Such is Life and BBing

Stan McQuay is a great example

he was very famous, moreso than some pro’s when he was a middleweight competitor

oddly, he has now become a pro but has been keeping a low profile.

damn, hes built like a brikc shithouse

Nope, not confusing them. Brandon has been in like 4 of the last muscular development mags. He is not that impressive to me, but I guess the impressive thing is that they are so young to be so well developed.

He’s been in every one of them for like the last year or so. Possibly more than that. MD sponsors him! Are you reading this thread?

LOL!

Not only that, but how is he not impressive? They have changed the standards of bodybuilding contests (according to recent rulings) so guys like him that are more aesthetic are now being pushed to the front.

Is “adamhum” against this?

He’s a pretty eloquent guy. I enjoyed listening to what he had to say in that vid. I hope he does well.

wait. Is it someone’s contention that Brandon Curry isn’t impressive? where’s the Ari Gold gif - “Get the Fuck Out”

I just went with what the site said, but having seen more pics of him and him standing next to Dave Palumbo, etc…

I’d say he’s around 5’5" mark

I am the biggest, fat piece of lard.

Mr. Ray weighed in today at 187lbs…so this is what 187 looks like?

mdtv.musculardevelopment.com/content/view/2208/244/

no shit, he makes me look small and fat at 210lbs…all things are relative i guess, he looks sick.

This is what amuses me about comp weights when trying to explain it to certain people

That’s 187lbs comp weight, so like 4%BF, minimal water and lost some muscle in the process

He would probs started out at around 210lbs at 10% BF which is lean enough for most

OH SHIT SON !!

I just saw the video, and all I can say is WOW

the tiny waist, the shoulders that just go out there, the seperation between his arms

dude means business.

ok, he started out heavier than I thought

17 weeks out, 233lbs

solid

he was probably 240-250 at his peak.
