2010 NPC USA Championship

For those that follow actual bodybuilding… any thoughts on this show? To me Jason Huh is the front runner for the overall with possibly Al Auguste giving him a run for his money if he comes out of his class.

The big showdown is clearly in the SHW class but I thought I’d post this shot of a guy who I think has a fantastic physique from the heavyweight class. Fans of classic bodybuilding should be aware those lines and shape are still around if you look.

Vladimir Sizov

Although Vladimir has nice shape, I just cant see him beating Burneika for some reason. Burneika is a fucking monster and carries a shit load of muscle. If Burneika nails his conditioning I cant see why he cant win the over all.

edit sorry i thought you said Vladimir was in the SHW class.

Huh is probably going to win based on the pictures on md and the call outs…he deserves it…the guy is an all around beast…

i think kuclo has the most potential for a pro beside huh…but he wont place very high this contest…he needs to make improvements for next year…

Burneika is a super heavyweight, while Sizov is a heavyweight. Did you mean Jason Huh?

Assuming you mean Huh… Burneika is absolutely huge but came in a little soft. I really don’t see Brian Yerksy as a top 3-5 guy in this show but he was put in the first callout. Personally I think Steve K. did not get the placement(how it looks now) that he should.

I think Jason Huh is unbeatable in this show. He just has a perfect physique from top to bottom, looks really impressive. He looked a tad soft from the side in the prejudging pics but I still don’t think anyone can take the SHW class from him and I’d give him the overall as well.

1st call out SHW class.

Huh’s calves look like something is wrong with them they insert so far down his lower leg lol.

edit: that didn’t make sense originally

I notice he mentioned he is part Korean in an interview, that explains the calves lol.

I’ve been following this show religiously lol. Jason Huh has a package that I think is unbeatable. Has as much upper body mass as burneika with a smaller waist, his legs destroy everyones on stage, like those hammies make other peoples hammies look untrained. Definitely deserving of a pro card.

A few of the call outs seemed fucked up though. Kuclo and Chad should have been in the first call out. Keith Williams isn’t looking too pretty compared to those two.

So top 5 for the Super Heavies…

Winner 1st: Jason Huh

2nd: Keith Williams

3rd: Brian Yersky

4th: Robert Burneika

5th: Dusty Hanshaw

Sizov won his class in somewhat of an upset(not to me).

Al Auguste won the LHW in a shock to about no one.

Overall is happening now and will probably be over before this goes through.

Overall Winner is Jason Huh

Then

2nd: Al Aguste

3rd: Vladimir Sizov

4th:Jason Joseph

All got Pro Cards.

Huh totally deserved this win…Awesome physique and he’s young and will do damage in the pro ranks as I see it…I want to be as dedicated as that man. I envy everything about eating, breathing, sleeping bodybuilding…

Was surprised with the Keith Williams and Hanshaw placings…I think Kuclo should have been top 5 and Yerski and Burneika 2 and 3…heard Williams had some weider deal going on…Anyways good shit.

Huh.

Al.

One more of Vlad

And to be honest that is probably Als worst shot…you can check other photos out on other various bbing websites.

Huh was the clear cut winner to me and just about everyone else.

I don’t see it in Yerksi, he’s lacking quad sweep, wasn’t the most conditioned guy and doesn’t have overwhelming size. I wouldn’t have put him in the top 6 most likely. Kuclo clearly has to be scratching his head on why he placed outside top 5. Hopefully next appearance he works with Justin Harris for a bit longer than 3 weeks because there’s almost no reason for him not to win any pro qualifier he enters. A freak like Jason Huh or Cedric comes around every few shows but I think Steve has the natural gifts to hang and beat just about everyone else.

If you can get Burneika to not worry so much about fullness and just get nasty peeled he is going to a force to be reckoned with.

Sucks for Burneika and Kuclo. Agreed that Burneika needs to get more shredded, and I heard people saying Kuclos condition was maybe a little off? He has such an aesthetically pleasing physique, he’s bound to show up dialed and in and grab that pro card one of these days. Was quite a show! And congrats to Dusty for cracking top 5! Isnt this his 3rd show ever? Solid as fuck.

Surprised at Burneika’s placing, but glad Huh got it. His physique is awesome.

Fucking amazing. The guy just has great shape.
