Boxer's or Brief's Testosterone levels

I know that men who wear boxer’s have higher sperm counts than those who wear briefs.

Does this also affect your testosterone levels?

Has any real research been done on this topic?

thanks,

If you’re concerned about boxers or briefs, then you will want to avoid using microwaves, plastic containers, etc. There are so many minor things that could make a minute change in T-levels that’s it not worth worrying too much about. Just do what works for you and what is comfortable and/or convenient. Eat right, train right, live right, and let it go with the flow.

My personal experience with this…I have two kids. I have always worn tighy-whiteys (briefs). When my wife and I decided to “pull the goalie”, we managed to get pregnant on the 1st try.

Batting “1000” on two “at-bats”…I’d say the bried/boxers thing is not 100%.

As for the effects on T? Just do what you can in other areas: work, sleep, and eat towards your goals.

In other news…After my procedure last summer, hopefully, I’ll be batting ZERO from now on.

Comfort matters more to me. I used to have a mix of boxers and briefs, but now they have boxer/briefs which I swear by. No more uncomfortable bunching at the groin from briefs and no more flapping in the breeze feeling from boxers. I didn’t like the way boxers felt either with my sack constantly sticking to the side of my leg (below the knees  I used to wear them though because chicks tend to dislike the brief look. Now the chicks really dig the boxer/brief look so we’re all happy. And thank god they developed the pouch front. I always hated the ‘Y’ front briefs - my snake was always working its way through the maze. At least now when it peaks out, its a straight shot.

As far as I know the only reason briefs lower sperm count is because they hold your sack close to your body which increases the temp of the sperm, which ends up killing some. So your body is still producing sperm the same and your test level seems like it would be totally unaffected, the only difference would be that you may lose some sperm before they make it into a kleenex…
