Hey so, long story short.
I was surfing the web, and went to this website. As soon as I clicked on it, I was warned that my computer had been infected, and I saw the virus/malware or whatever it was starting to download its files onto my computer. I IMMEDIATELY closed that website. As a matter of fact, the whole browser. I went to check my security system, and it said everything was fine. I started to run a full system check, but realized this is going to take too long, so I stopped it and performed a quick malware scan instead. It said no malware found. I do plan on performing the full system check tomorrow, when there is more time.
Now however, my bookmarks are acting up. You know how when you have certain websites bookmarked, as soon as you type in the first few letters of it in the URL box (or whatever its called) the website will come down from a drop box? Well it won’t do that anymore. For example, facebook is one of my book marked websites. Usually, as soon as I type the letter “f” in the URL box, it would drop down, and all I would have to do is click it, instead of typing the whole URL. Now it won’t do that.
Hopefully I didn’t confuse anyone, and apologies for not being computer literate.
