Beta for download at the above link. Already noticing its much much much faster than ffox.
I saw this on the news today. I’m already used to working with firefox. If I do decide to change to Google Chrome, I’ll probably wait a little longer before they fix any remaining bugs.
Initial thoughts…
(Excluding the “Oh no, here we go again - google taking over the world”)
Installation - Quick & easy.
Speed - Nice and fast. Quicker than firefox, IE and Safari so far.
Interface - I like so far. How the latest firefox should have been.
Address/search bar - works a treat no matter what you type in.
Tools/Options - I’d like a lot more control.
Like - Spell checker when typing in fields, speed, clean interface.
Dislike - Not enough control over it (yet?), Can’t find how to add words to the spell checker (doesn’t look like it’s even possible)
Thoughts - Well it’s definitely a beta release although no actual problems as far as crashes/bugs etc. It just needs to open up a few features and it’ll be killer. Hopefully that’s what will happen.

It has porn mode. Any page you view wont show up in history or search history.

I am in tab-heaven. I lost count in the 60s somewhere and that was nowhere near the end.
using it now… I am really impressed with the speed difference compared to Mozilla. and the built in spell checker is AWESOME

Having no issues so far, it can even load the Favorite BB Picture thread in under 5 minutes. Kicking the ass of firefox wrt speed.
Yeah, I can’t believe the speed. We’re all geeked about it here.

Also, firefox has spellchecker. At least mine does. Not sure if there’s some random option I have turned on.
Google is an amazing company. I use a ton of their products: mail, calender, reader, adsense, analytics. Great stuff.

Yeah, I’m currently running it in Windows XP on my MacBook Pro. It’s even blazing fast in this configuration.
And yeah, FF does have a spell checker as well.
im on vista home premium, on a laptop.
i love it.
I’m running it now and it’s just blazing through all pages.
I talked about this months ago… part of the eventual os if they dont go the cloud computing route
