Planning a family walk through the snow today pulling the big fella behind me on a sled.

I’m unsure of my PR on bench, I believe it is 225x3 at a higher bodyweight, so this was huge. I might’ve been able to grind another rep, but I figured I’d chalk this up in the win column and move on. There is plenty more time to gain strength and blow that PR out of the water.

435 moved… ok. Not great. I think I may be a bit out of practice with heavier Deadlift weights. Anyhow, definitely a PR at this bodyweight. Pressing on tuesday if time allows, if not, wednesday. Might hit a short deload for 4-5 days before starting up BBBB.

Go Bills!

Dinner last night was 4 pieces of sourdough, mozzarella, some mayo stuff my wife made and the majority of a chuck steak. It was awesome.

Edit: oh, and onions because vegetables are healthy.

This sounds interesting, did you find it more taxing on the CV side of things or more muscular endurance, or did it hit both in balance? Might pinch it.

Personally my legs and lower back felt more than my lungs, but I’m quite out of practice in the high rep squat department. Next time I may lower the weight a bit and do touch and go style or jump squats or something a bit more cardio-intense.

It’s taken from a neversate program. Brian has so many awesome conditioning/finisher ideas.

Day one in the books. Took a 2 mile walk with the fam after work, just before this. I could’ve been a bit more intelligent with the supersets- I may SS chins and dips throughout the BB work next time instead of just chins. This ended up dragging a bit by the end just trying to bust out as many dips as possible. Still finished sub-60 minutes though.

Yeah man, I’ll be taking some extra days between lifting due to life right now, but I’m excited to run this again. It’s even more fun watching someone go through the same thing you are. He definitely inspired me to run it.

I’m feeling pretty sore today, haha.

Things seem to be working out juuusttt fine. Weighed 204 this morning. I’m noticing that I’m significantly more vascular than I have been previously, especially after lifting. Might be seeing some quad veins trying to poke through soon too.

Celebrating my wife’s birthday today! I’ll be spending the morning with the little fella so my wife can go pamper herself, having the family over in the afternoon and then taking her out to a nice dinner at one of our favorite places. Lifting and a long walk will happen tomorrow.

Spent all day yesterday at work going up and down stairs with my 60lb tool pack and a 6ft fiberglass ladder… I was feeling pretty beat down yesterday afternoon.
