Those were incredibly clean, looks like you’ve got plenty more to give!

Dude, between you and @heretolog, I’m beginning to think the key to making big deadlifts look easy is a kick-ass, burly beard. Maybe that’s what I need, haha!

Nice work on those pulls, my man.

lol unfortunately you have to combine it with upstate, Ny water to see maximum results.

I wish you hadn’t said that, now I need to grow a beard.

lol everybody should go full caveman at some point to see what it’s like

And this certainly helps. That Ginna tainted lake Ontario water is second to none

Hah yeah man, I could likely do that. Not going to find out for a while, though. I see a lot more sets of 5 in my future

I think 205x5 is a rep PR. It moved well and I had multiple left in the tank.

Feeling good and strong. Very excited to see how BtM goes with the 20 rep sets and all the extra volume. I’m putting away lots of food, so hopefully it’ll translate well. I am on the cusp of rep PR territory all around, so it’s a little daunting, but whatever. I feel like a machine lately.

I also cannot believe I’m almost to 3k posts in my log. Kind of crazy. I really enjoy the banter and discussions, though!

Its funny how the posts in your log add up real quick. The biggest and best value you can get in here, is to have an active log where people come and comment. I have learnt more though connecting with people in my and their logs than I ever did from reading a muscle mag or an online article.

I definitely agree. I absolutely love the feedback and tips/tricks/suggestions. Without them I am certain I wouldn’t be be doing nearly half of what I am.

I’ll be honest, I owe pretty much everything to the training logs section. I have never owned a muscle magazine or participated in any sort of athletic endeavor. I was/am a very “non-sports” type person and I asked Google how to get big and strong… Google told me this was the place to learn how to do that so I just stayed here. I never really looked up to anyone in particular or aspired to be anything other than just generally “big and strong”. I now have a group of people I look up to and enjoy following along with.

Wow looks like google does get it right sometimes.

That fucking sucked. Grace was way too heavy, but I think I’ll keep it and shoot for less than 10 mins.

Damn… BBB squats are not fun. Had the head-is-about-to-pop feeling by set four.

I think I mentioned this a little while ago, but my belt is fitting tighter. I tried letting it out a notch but it was too loose and basically did nothing. Brought it back in and kept it there. Seems like I’m gaining weight- awesome. Might weight in before monolith.

LOL what % loading are you using for the BBB sets ?

For BBB beefcake it’s first set last, so 65, 70 and 75 percent of TM for the 5, 3, and 1’s week.

I couldn’t remember but looking at the numbers I guessed it was FSL %. That template is a tough one, I hope you are still eating big mate.

Yeah it’s usually pretty intense. I sort of planned it so that the first cycle was a bit easier. I think I had only added about 5lbs to the TM from the last time I ran BBB.

This is the last week of it before switching over to monolith. I think I’ll have my highest TMs to date during these next couple of cycles, which is somewhat intimidating. Like you said, though, I have to be sure I’m eating. So far so good in that department because I haven’t felt remotely close to being underrecovered even with some extra conditioning.

I was worried about the top set of presses all day but crushed them. Everything else moved well and I am gaining confidence in pushing my limits overhead.

Going to shoot for conditioning tomorrow and potentially sunday… the first day of BtM will be Monday. I’m super excited to tackle this template. It’s been on my to-do list for quite a while now.

Cut the curls short to play with my dog. She got bored of chewing on her toy in the lifting room while I was doing curls so we ran around the backyard for a while.
