I cooked all 6, but my wife wanted to have one after she stole a bite out of the pan haha. I think that’s the true testament to the quality.
I loved them! Super snappy and not wet and fatty on the inside like most hot dogs. I trusted your word and ordered 8 six packs, and I’m happy I did.
I also got 4lbs of pork sausage, 12 lbs of 96/4 ground beef and 2 lbs of summer sausage. I have the summer sausage defrosting now. I’m super excited to try it out. Thanks again for the heads up on the sale dude!
Absolutely dude! The summer sausage is solid. Doesn’t leave that greasy feeling in your mouth. There are a few companies that make low carb hot dog buns, if you ever want the “full experience”, but they’re also like a cheap sausage. I told the company I want them to make some grassfed ones sometime, we’ll see how that goes, haha.
I will definitely look into that for when I go out to grill them. I love a good hot dog on a bun, and it’d be awesome to keep it DW friendly once the weather gets nice and I’m back on the carb restriction again!
I just ate them without buns, but dipped them in Dijon mustard and horseradish after having a few bites straight up to get the full effect without any condiments.

Wanted to brag about my awesome wife
She knows I’ve been having a very difficult time with work, and knows that having a big dinner is important to me.
I worked a 14 hour day today, got home, and she had already cooked a ribeye (that she bought earlier in the day, without even asking), 4 coconut shrimp and air fried a bunch of broccoli for me. Then, she brought out half of an Italian assorted sub and a cannoli.
She is the greatest.
Tlgains is happy boilerman has such an amazing wife.

Before the day gets away from me yet again, I’ve been doing house work this weekend. It’s been physical enough to be worth logging.
Yesterday was ripping out porch post 4x4s and replacing them. Also, ripping lathe and plaster out of a closet to get access to the attic.
Today is tearing off a section of roof, replacing the tongue and groove decking and re shingling. Replace 2x4s on a truss in the attic and re insulating. The leak from the roof was worse than I had anticipated.
