The stuff from piedmontese is so damn good. Everything they shipped is super lean, but stays juicy and tender. I feel a LOT better health wise eating it than the stuff I get from the grocery store.

For anyone following from the flame free thread, my plan didn’t work. Now I have a headache, bloody shins, and my ear still hurts. Also, this is the craziest glute pump I’ve ever had, it was definitely a factor today. Very intense getting my hips through on those deadlifts.
Typically no, not really… it’s just a constant dull ache. I got it on the inside of my ear though. Once the swelling goes down a little it’ll be alright.
My dad and brother are both very allergic… and I haven’t been stung in years so I didn’t know how my body would react. My brother never had issues up until a few years ago. His hand blew up almost twice it’s original size. Luckily it doesn’t seem as though I’m allergic, still swollen and bulbous, but not anything that’ll kill me.
You’ve never been stung by a bee? I feel like it was a regular thing when I was a kid haha. My mom used to tell me to get the stinger out and put mud on it.
Edit: maybe I’m just a dummy who kept putting myself in a situation to be stung haha.
Again, zero doubt about the push presses. This is the last “easy” standing press day, so I enjoyed every last second of it. Next push press day will be 9 sets to 100 reps with 133 or 138lb, haven’t decided which to go with yet.

So close to the 3x10 on flat bench. Next week I’ll get it. Bench days have been progressing great. I’m super happy about that. I’m feeling extremely beat up right now. I have DOMs everywhere but it’s especially bad in my upper back/traps.
Conditioning tomorrow, not sure what I’m going to do yet…then hell on earth begins Thursday or Friday. This next month is going to suck.
The last 4 weeks of DW intermediate are essentially pure torture. Working weights go from “70%” to “80%”… and he has you cut sets out, but you still go to 100 reps.
So, increase weight and 9 sets to 100 reps for weeks 3 and 4
Keep weight increase, 8 sets to 100 reps weeks 5 and 6

Do it man, it has changed the way I view lifting.
Much more so on the first run through, but I’m still learning things through this run, too. You can handle a LOT more volume than you realize if the diet is there. I’m getting leaner, stronger and more resilient. The mindset shift is also a huge perk. I just go in, get the shit done, eat, and then complain on here haha. When I’m lifting though, I’m in the zone.
