Oh shit, someone’s jumped on the vid bandwagon. Nice shit Greg, 135x3 on the dips is awesome man, something I’m chasing now.
Yo Greg, so I was watching Cake Boss (rather, it was on one of the TVs) while I was doing cardio, and there was a part where a really fat guy was wrestlin some skinny guy, and the guy “reffing” looked like you. So I thought about you for about 5 minutes today. Amazin
mad hops brah

I have finally jumped on the vid bandwagon and i have to say… I like it. I like being able to watch myself afterwards and see how my form is. I will definitely be posting more videos. Those 135 dips felt heavy. I thought about going for a 4th rep but I dont like doing really heavy low rep dips because of my shoulder that I had surgery on. I like to keep it higher rep (8 minimum)

hahahaha I thought you were going to say the fat guy looked like me and I was going to have to go back to the gym right this instant for 5 hours of grueling cardio lol

thanks man! I’m really working on it cause I’ve always wanted to dunk. I’m getting some good info from the Vert/Speed thread over in the Conditioning forum. Hopefully, with a little more practice, I’ll be able to increase my vert and possibly throw one down. My next goal is to be able to grab the rim with both hands.
heres a pic of the wheels from yesterday (or should I say wheel) measured them at 26 and 1/4 at their widest.
Also check out those scrawny little calves I have. Cant train them cause of my compartment syndrome so I fear that I’m doomed to look like I dont train legs unless I wear a speedo around all the time lol
Remember the HSPU challenge thread? Might have to try those again since your shoulder seems able to handle some abuse now.
And dude, don’t ever complain about your calves being small. My 4yo daughter has better calves than I do. It’s like I have no gastrocs at all, seriously. I know I need to train them, but I don’t. No idea why, laziness I guess. Maybe because I don’t see a “need” for calves in PL training, who knows.
Good quad separation though man, nice work
Your legs look good IMHO. Im jelly. My calves are the WORST, yours actually look decent.

Not letting anyone take this title from me Bug, mine are the worst!
A calf-off is in order perhaps? Like a walk-off (ala Zoolander) of course

a calf off huh… I just measured mine and they are just over 15"s flexed. left is slightly bigger
Your legs are hawt <3
Since the title hasn’t been claimed yet, I have the best calves.
What? I don’t have abs or veins or anything cool, so I have bragging rights on calves.
You got some guns and some gams on ya brother. Looking strong. I’m down for a calf-off. Mine are a bit over 16" at 172lbs. Booyah!

thanks! damn 16’s on a 172? no wonder you got boosties.
Got in the gym today for some jumping and back day
AM Cardio. 20 minutes on the stair master, 20 minutes incline walking on the treadmil 12 incline speed 3.5
Jumping was good. I was getting just as high as yesterday and grabbing the rim pretty easy even though my legs were a little tired.
Went for back and it was crap. I was just not feeling it today.
Weighted Pull Ups
BW x 10
45 x 6,6
90 x 3
BW x 14
Meadows Rows
2plates x 8,8
Dead Stop DB Rows
120 x 10
150x 8, 8
at this point I felt like poop so I went inside, did a few more jumps and then rolled home. I was kinda just drained feeling. Gonna rest up tonight and eat a lot. Ready to get back at it tomorrow.
Included is a pic of me from this morning. Getting a little bit leaner I think (hope) down to 213 on the dot today at the gym.
EDIT: I dont know why the pic is so grainy and kinda blurry. Will get a better one next week some time
What’s your average workout time? I used to run a mile before my workouts as a warm up too but I realized it was burning me out on the strength department too much so I save that or jumping rope for after. I used to run them in 6:30…so I prolly was going too fast anyways. Nowadays i’m lucky to get em in under 10 mins but thats another story.
Since I do martial arts as well I try and not let my workouts in the gym go over an hour…don’t wanna trash the body too much. Seems like you get a lot of work done… Pretty awesome man

Thanks man. 6:30 mile huh? That’s quick.
As far as my average time for the workout is concerned, it really all depends. If I’m doing extra conditioning work or something I could spend anywhere 90 minutes to 2 hours? If I’m just doing my lifting I can get it all done under an hour probably? I take pretty short rest periods unless it’s bench or squat on the heavier sets.
I’ve never actually timed myself at the gym, as far as total time goes, but I just get in, do what i gotta do, and get going. If I feel like after 3 exercises a bodypart is done for the day then I’ll stop then. If I think I need one or two more exercises then I’ll go for it. I really just play it by how I feel ya know?
Hope I answered your question a little bit? Hahah
Ink, mine are like 16.5 but look HORRIBLE. like worst attachments ever. On my 6’1" legs, no bueno.

Mine are 15.75 and would only look good if I were wearing 6" heels.
