Ink- hahahahaha yeah man it was so skeevy. I legitimately know how girls feel at the gym when old/ugly guys oogle them. I wont be doing that anymore lolz. Negative rep! I like it. I could have probably gotten it up (thats what she said?) but i couldnt stay tight in my upper back cause it was so sore and I didnt feel like risking injury to get that one rep. whatevs.
hlss- I like your guys style. I’ll come up with some super cool name for it… for next time
AMAZING SONG. I was jamming out to this while doing my FMC. So incredible. Listen to it… you’ll love it! thats a gregron guaran-damn-tee!
did 25 minutes of FMC on the stairmaster step mill machine. 80 floors, 260something cals burned (allegedly) and I got a good sweat going. Pretty good start to this morning and got yesterdays gym fiasco behind me
Cant see the video Greg but from the description I get the picture. That is what I like about front squats, a WHOLE lot easier set the bar down if you “negative” as opposed to back squat when you “negative”.
DJ- Thats true. I actually had the bar setting on the rack. I stripped off a 45 from each side and then wiggled my way under it and basically “front squatted from pins”… it felt pretty cool TBH. I dont know if I’d ever do the pins thing but it was a different feeling to start in the bottom position and squat it up (is that even a squat? I guess it would be a “stand up” and not a squat. lolz)
Ink- lol’ing in the deep. haha nice. I’ve really been liking this song lately. Its so awesome, i mean all her songs are great but this one is awesome. is it weird that I listen to these types of songs while I’m lifting heavy?
oh man, just made a breakfast shake for the first time in forever… I forgot how good these things are!
2 bananas
1 scoop creatine
1 scoop lucine
2 tblspoons peanut butter
2 scoop choco protein
ice
water
AMAZING

LMAO I literally saw someone yesterday wearing that same exact shirt and thought what an incredible tool he was.[/quote]
hahahaha I know right??? Isnt it awesome I’m gonna wear that tank top when I dunk first and then flex in your face during the video!
OHHHHHHHHHH YEAAAAH! I FORGOT…
last night I watched the Discovery Channel show “Surviving The Cut”. Its a documentary that basically follows a class through one of the US Militarys special operations schools. I’ve seen a few of them and the one from this week was SWCC (my old job) I watched it and it was pretty cool. Very “tame” from what really happens but they cant show a lot of the stuff on TV (cause it would just be constant bleeeeeeeeeps lol)
i knew almost all of the instructors and have some very good buddies who were instructors at the school house. The show is on again on Sunday if anyone is interested in checking it out. Its a pretty cool show if you’re into military stuff. Just thought I would share.
Sorry you had a rough session man. I hate days where you’re just “off”. About the old guy, that’s creepy. One reason I’m glad I started wearing a hat is I can just pull it down low and kinda ignore everything but what i’m focusing on.
That shake sounds delicious, though I would probably use milk instead of water for extra cals
I feel you on the whole “back limiting my front squat” deal, I do them 2 days after my heavy back day and it’s rough on my back for sure. From time to time I consider getting a front squat harness deal.

stfu you were swcc, that was insane. I seriously can’t believe you completed that. The last 50 hours were insane. How on earth did that guy with the blown out knee make it? shit was crazy.
You just went up about 15 notches in my book…that puts you at notch 15 lol
woaaahhh lots of activity in here over the weekend… I feel honored lolz
Ink- yeah those things are fun. I had tons of cool pics and vids from when I was in that I lost when my hard drive crashed. Really sucks cause there was lots of stuff on there that I’ll never be able to get back… lame
Blaze- I’m thinking about moving my leg day un in the week. Like maybe starting the week off with legs so that I dont have a sore back while trying to front squat. That shake is good, you should try it out. When I was trying to gain weight I would put 1 cup of oats in it and blend it up… came out to just over 1,000 calories for a breakfast shake and I didnt even use milk. Not too shabby
Kalle- Your totally right. Mentally I wasnt in the right place when I attempted that squat. Thanks for the kind words brother.
Jams98- Whats going on man? I’ll weigh in this afternoon at the gym but what I was noticing last week was about a 1-2 lb decrease… probably some water weight in there but I just started taking creatine again so that could mess with my water weight? We’ll see? I’m noticing that I feel a little leaner (especially in the evenings)
Steve- Thanks bud… It probably just was an off day but off days are just so lame haha
MiM- Hopefully the protein powder helps… didnt think of that Yeah that was my job for a little over 5 years. The thing I miss most is the guys. It sucks not hanging with your buddies every day… even when work sucks balls its still not that bad cause of the people you work with ya know?
TommyGunz- hahahah yeah that was my old job. I posted some work pics a long time ago… I’ll post a couple here… in case anyone cares lol.
I’m glad that I’m up to level 15 now hahaha. Thats awesome.
that picture is from some training we did in Panama. I took the picture from my boat… thats our trail boat.
Ok so I’ve been busy and havent logged much. been still getting my gym on and getting some cardio in. hit the beach yesterday for a couple hours to get some sun with some friends. Dominated some hotwings and half of a deep dish pizza… my stomach was not thanking me this morning I think my wing tolerance is at an all time low, very disappointing.
hit up some FMC today in the from of jump topes. 11 minutes of speed rope work. Didnt have time to hit the gym for a 30+ minute session… this’ll have to do. I’ll post again later about my gym trip… but for fun, here are some more pics
this ones also from Panama. We rolled up on a supposedly “abandoned” island and there were a few boats in the cove. This area has been known for cartel drug smuggling so we thought we might get into it with some smugglers (fingers crossed)… but nope. It was just some fishermen. lame.
Had my M4 ready to go and the 240N was locked n loaded incase we needed some 762
jogged to the gym and I was feeling like get some running in. That doesnt happen very often so I thought I’d go with it lol. (hence the sweet running shirt I’m wearing in the vids lololol PLUS its a sleeveless… I hate wearing sleeveless shirts to the gym, but oh well.)
was planning on running 3 miles on the treadmill and then getting to work but the friggin treadmill broke again! F! did 1 mile in 6:28 and then the mill shut off and wouldnt turn back on. called the cardio there and went to the weights.

Weighed in at 211 this afternoon. I was 212/213 when I started so maybe down 1lb? I did eat a bunch of pizza, wings and had 3 beers last night… plus I maaaaaaaybe had the two leftover slices along with a protein shake as me pre workout meal lol. I’ happy with this. I took some pics today and I’ll post those as well
Well the video didnt show so here is the youtube version.
the last place that leans up on me is my midesction (lame!) the rest of me is getting pretty tight, had veins in my chest/shoulders today… but just the old “spare tire” is still there a little bit. That part always takes the longest to get rid of.
Taco Tuesday is in full effect. Chef boyarGregron is prepping to do work!
Corn Tortillas
93% lean Ground Angus Beef
Grilled green chillies
black beans
Herdez salsa (this stuff is awesome)
avocados for some guac
bout to start cookin…
Didnt hit the gym today. Decided to move leg day up in the week to hopefully eliminate the upperback soreness but my knees were feeling a little sore this morning. Hit the gym for 25 minutes on the stairmaster for my FMC. Took some motrin today to help with the little bit of knee soreness. Hopefully I’ll be feeling A OK tomorrow and can smash some legs.
Stay classy everyone!

Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure…than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, because they live in a gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat.
