Chris- you lift in a sweatshirt? I tried that one time and almost died… seriously I run way too hot for a sweatshirt (even though i think it looks bad ass) I see a lot of people BSing in the gym. I’ll get there, see people “lifting” and then by the time I’m all done and leaving i see them still “working out”. its crazy cause its not like my sessions are super short or anything. I think the gym is a social place for a lot of people. not me

Ct. Rock- Thanks. I was hoping that I was doing it right. Yeah I did 3 sets of that with 1:30 rest in between. That video was of my third set. My wind was pretty good. You could see that I was breathing heavy when I switched to the snatch grip pulls cause I was struggling a bit but it wasnt too terrible. I’d definitely like to get this down and then up the weight like you said. It’d be awesome to hit the circuit with 225. maybe in a month or something?

Ink- I went with the close grip first cause thats how Rock had it written up. Clean grip, snatch grip and then rows… It was good though and my traps were definitely screamin’ by the end… In the words of the great Beyonce “I dont think you’re ready for this jelly”

Ok so I had a good little workout today. Didnt do the Ct Complex (thats what I’m gonna call it) cause I did it yesterday and think my traps might be thankful for a day off.

My ankle is still a little whacked off. Its getting better but still kinda sore and my right shin is now crazy sore/tender from over compensating face palm

Thats all she wrote. In and out of the gym in less than an hour. Felt good, Had lots of energy, weighed 209.5 I can tell I’m getting a bit leaner which is always nice :slight_smile:

Shit, break it down man. Try a set of 6,4, and 2 until you hit 225.

Even at 2 reps you’d be still be getting 6 in total of pure trap work. I mean if you want to move up in weight in a hurry.

Yes, I work with a hoodie. I run hot, too. So much that I used to steam just walking outside during winter after sleeping. But, as I said before, I live in Hell’s smokehouse.

I’ve always been a veeeeeeery competitive person (of you couldn’t tell) and it’s nice to have an outlet. I get bummed when there isn’t a season going lol. No game this week but we have a pretty big last game of the regular season the week after. We play the number 1 team in the league who has only lost one game… And that was to us :slight_smile: we just happen to play them twice. It’d be nice to beat them two times but then we’ll more than likely see them in the playoffs and it would be hard to beat a good team 3 times in the same season ya know?
