I turned 21 last wednesday, so that’s what i’ve been up to lol.

I also just started trying to catch up to your bodyweight just now, we’re the same height so something to shoot for. You have strength and agility on me though.

KMan- happy belated 21st! I’m sure you’ve been living it up… Ahhh to be so young again lol man it seems like everyone is catching up to my bodyweight these days. I feel a lot better at my weight now than I do when I was at my heaviest (219) and trying to get to 225. I just felt slow and sluggish a lot of the time. I think my best weight is 205-210… If I could lean out a little more and put on a couple more pounds of muscle I think I’d be pretty happy. I’m sure you’ll catch up to me and blow right past me soon… Just keep it up

Blaze- the pyramid is Pull Ups, Dips & Push Ups. You do 2 pull ups, 2 dips and 5 push ups. Then 4, 4, and 10. Then 6, 6 and 15… All the way up to 10, 10 and 25 then go back down to 8, 8 and 20 ect… Knock em all out ASAP and it comes out to 60 pull ups, 60 dips and 125 push ups. It’s definitely legit. If you try it out I’d love to hear what you thought. The 8,10,8 part is killer.

Pullups/dips increase by 2 each set, pushups by 5.

Set 1: 2/2/5
Set 2: 4/4/10
Set 3: 6/6/15
Set 4: 8/8/20
Set 5: 10/10/25
Set 6: 8/8/20
Set 7: 6/6/15
Set 8: 4/4/10
Set 9: 2/2/5

I think that’s what he means, if it is…his math is off, 50 pullups and dips, but the 125 pushups is correct.

Nikki- Well go ahead and tell your hypothetical friend not to feel bad about not getting all the reps in straight sets cause I cant even do that right now. I was fine on the dips all the way through but after the first set of 8/8/20 on the way up I was smoked… It was multiple sets on pull ups and push ups from then on out. Just did as many as I could, dropped down, shook out my arms and banged out 2 or 3 more till I was done. Then with push ups I would shoot for 5, then get on my knees, shake out the arms and go for 5 more till I was done. Its so wimpy looking when you’re struggling to do 5 pushups lolol… hypothetically speaking of course :slight_smile:

Ok so I got into the gym early today. I’m going with my girl tonight but wanted to get in some jumping and the gym is always full of classes during the evenings.

Did my normal warm up and then shot around. Tried a few jumps and wasnt getting as high as i was on monday. I only managed 1 two handed rim grab. I tried to throw down a few lobs with a volleyball and they kept rimming out. I was close! I’m gonna take my fish oils, rest up and wait till monday to try again.

I was out on the courts for 30-40 minutes probably and had a good sweat going. I was gonna roll out but I decided I should get in a little back work today. Hit up some:

V handle cable Rows 210 x 4 x 8 w/ hold & squeeze
HS Iso High Row 3pps x 3 x 8
DB Rows 110s x 3 x 10
Face Pulls 80 x 3 x 12

Just did this real quick. didnt really take any breaks in between… 30 seconds max. Wanted to get this quick session in before I hit the gym tonight. Had a good little pump going on from the volume. Gonna get some legs tonight.
