Ok well since my log is allowing pictures here is one from just now. BW=??? (i’ll find out later when I’m at the gym) I got a fresh new haircut this morning, shaved off the mustache (got tired of it and just have some “designer stubble” now) and I’m ready to smash the gym later.

Thoughts on the current picture: 1. I need a tan. 2. I need to drop a little bit of BF. 3. I need to hit shoulders 2 times a week. I need some cannonball delts fa show!

Not familiar with the Cressey stuff you’ve been doing but did his Maximum Strength program and it was pretty badass. Hope this helps man.

^^Thanks a lot man. The stuff I’ve recently started doing is basically that same routine minus that first roll back to splits thing. I’ll add that in though for next time. I’m sure it’ll help AND I’ll look super cool at the same time so its a Win-Win

Ok so its been a couple days since i’ve posted, just been busy. I kinda threw out my arm on saturday, throwing up a “hail Mary” at the end of the game and so I didnt do any upperbody stuff monday or tuesday like I wanted.

I went to the gym with my girl and we did some conditioning stuff. A lot of lunges, mountain climbers, box jumps, bear crawls, burpees, KB swings and that sort of thing. Just basically getting a couple of days of conditioning type stuff it which was nice.

Got back in for some lifting today but my arm was still feeling weird so I didn’t really push it. Weighed 209 today.

couple sets of pull ups to warm up, rode the stationary bike, foam rolled/stretched/did those mobility drills from a couple posts earlier and then did some chest (was planning on doing more but my bicep wouldnt let me)

BB Bench: slowly ramped today cause of my arm and did
275x8 (PR I think? I usually just hit sets of 5 once i reach 275)
315x3 drop set 225x10 Wanted 5 on 315 and then was going to go for 335 but my bi hurt so i stopped

DB bench:
70’s then 90’s x 10
100’s x 8

My arm really was aching at this point so I stopped. Did some dips which didnt hurt (BW only) and then rolled out of the gym. Kinda lame but I’ve just gotta rest up this arm. Probably do legs tomorrow then hopefully i’ll hit back, arms and shoulders at the end of the week… who knows.

Just gorged on some sushi and now I’m dominating on Jeopardy. Might play some Yatzee with my fiance soon… not really sure? Busy little wednesday night. I dont know if we’ll have enough time?

I saw Rango with my girl. Good movie. How to Train your Dragon is my favorite animated film, though, and then Monster’s Inc.

Did you notice some of the comedy in Rango? Was geared for “adult,” like when the gecko swallowed the bullet and he said, “Well, there goes Plan B…”

My buddy was talking about Adele tonight, and I couldn’t exactly say, “WELL, my curly stached friend GREGRON introduced me…”…but I gave you credit…like, deep down and shit.

I kinda effed my back up at my class yesterday. We were carrying charged 1 & 1/2 inch hose up the ladder to the third floor. Once we got up there we had to pull 50 feet of charged hose up on deck and it was timed. In the academy they said you have 2 and a half minutes so I was trying to destroy it and woke up feeling like balls this morning. I took a muscle relaxer but it’s not helping much. F!

Since you didn’t feel any injury on the spot, and considering this is a “new movement” (assuming you’re not pulling on charged hose too often - hi-o!), maybe this is just a case of super-DOMs.

Def take it easy tho and ease back into training - take a hot bath with epsom salt if you can, maybe that’ll help?
