shore club, millers and good time charlies are pretty much the only places i drink at in PB. damn i hope i see you when i am drunk, that will be so much more fun.

back in the gym today after a few days off. It was a pretty “meeeh” workout.

warmed up 20 minutes on the bike and then foam rolled my entire body basically and it was awesome. Stretched quite a bit more after that I hopped on the rowing machine to continue my warmup. After that I hit my chest and tri’s workout.

it was a pretty meeeh workout like i said. Felt a little tweak in my bicep. I play in a flag football league on saturdays and actually will be playing QB this season. I havent thrown the ball that much in forever and was definitely feeling it in my right bicep.

didnt go past 275 on BP. did 3 sets of 5 on that.

worked up to 105’sx8 on incline.

Couple sets of 8 dips w/ 90lbs

then hit the tris with a few exercises. My arm felt all whacked off so I’ve been icing it all night. Hopefully it feels better tomorrow.

Hey, just saw this on FB but Mad Titan (I’m sure you recall him posting here) is going to be at the World’s Gym (2929 Garnet Ave) on 3/24 at 4pm and then in Temecula on the 31st at 4pm at the Gold’s Gym at 26201 Ynez Rd, to hang/talk with fans and they’re giving out free supps I guess too.

Since you’re local and all, might be cool to hit it up

really? I’m from Temecula and pretty much all my family still lives there. I might have to go check that out if I dont already have things going on. Good lookin out Inky.

Yeah my arm was being lame yesterday and was all whacked off… Its feeling better this morning but I’m gonna hit shoulders today instead of back n bi’s. I wanna rest it up a little more.


Also, I was feeling like my mustache was stalling out so I decided to change things up.

FrozenNinja- Her voice is awesome. I had no idea she was a chubby british ginger when I first heard it lol… the songs “Rolling in the Deep” and “Rumor Has It” are great. She’s so soulful

Nikki- You’re a Adele fan Nikki? I have been stuck on those 105’s (and sometimes the 110’s) for a while. I dont have a workout partner/spotter 99.9% of the time so I only lift what I feel comfortable lifting by myself. I’d like to push it more but cant most of the time… kinda lame.

Todays Workout: Legs

My bicep was still being lame today so I decided to hit legs instead of shoulders. Stretched, foam rolled and did mobility work for a long time to loosen up my hip/semi injured booty cheek and I tell you what… It worked great!!! I felt awesome today.

Started with squats and wanted to take it slow and easy:
135 x 10
185 x 8
225 x 8
275 x 5
315 x 5, 5 (<-- the squats were really smooth. i did a pretty slow ramp up to the 315 cause I wanted to make sure everything was feeling good)

Alternating DB Step Ups:
70lb DB’s 4 sets of 6 reps per leg

Single leg lying leg curls:
70 x 8, 8
80 , 8

Single Leg leg extensions:
80 x 8, 8, 8

After this I did more stretching, foam rolling and mobility work. I kinda took it easy today but felt good. :slight_smile:

Greg, that stache is beyond! HAHA! literally defies everything. Congrats!

105’s are sick! I was working on getting half my bw on the DB flat bench and it was a major challenge. That’s more than bw for you, no? Boys are so strong!

Nice gym sesh. leg extensions are hard and you did them single legged. overachiever - lol!

Masch- hahah this version of the gregron stache is pretty ridiculous huh? Half your body weight on DB’s is impressive indeed… did you reach that goal or are you getting close? 105’s are actually a little more than my bodyweight… i was 208.5 at the gym today. I like doing my leg curls and extensions one leg at a time. My left leg is weaker than my right so I feel like doing quite a bit of single leg stuff helps to balance that out.

Nikki- Disturbed huh? Is that your favorite band to bump at the gym? I probably listen to the widest range of music ever when Im at the gym. What is this “teabag incident” that you speak of? Sound hilarious. No spotter is kinda lame but ya gotta do what ya gotta do sometimes :slight_smile: I think my bicep will be ok… just gonna rest it up for a bit

It reminds me of the “there will be blood”/“gangs of new york” guy’s mustache. Which is very awesome. lol.

WF & Inky- Thats the look i’m going for. Very old school… like so old school that women werent even allowed to be in school yet, old school.

Blaze- Yeah it kinda is Gangs of NY-ish. It is surprisingly hard to gel those corners to twist up like that.

I didnt have a whole lot of time today so I went with a higher rep/low rest workout today and my shoulders were en fuego (that means on fire)

Warm up, mobility, floor slides, YTWL’s, broomstick dislocates

Seated DB press:
60’sx 10, 10
70’sx 8
80’sx 8

DB Laterals:
30lb DB’s x 3x10

Front DB Raises:
30lb DB’s x 3x10

Behind the back cable laterals/supper setted with upright rows (<-- it litterally took me 2 minutes to figure out remember what those were called lol):
30 x 8,8,8 80lbx 10,10,10

Plate rotations around the head thingys:
45lb plate 10 clockwise, 10 counter clockwise x 3 sets (holy balls my shoulders were smoked, my arms were lookin jacked and these cougars at the gym were jockin me the whole time. It was awesome)

Reverse pec deck:
105lbs x 10, 10, 10 with a 3 second negative.

All of these sets were done with 60 seconds or less in between. I was just running through this workout and it felt great.

Disturbed is my favorite band to “bump” at any time.

The teabag incident is when I asked some random dude to spot me for bench. I was aiming for the 155, and I asked him to lift the bar up for me, but he couldn’t do it. So he hoisted his body up so he can grip the bar, and ended up teabagging me. Of course I was shocked so when he got the bar up, it just crashed on my bewbs ;(

ANYWAY, good to see you got the shoulder workout in.
