Dinner from last night: Grilled NY Steaks, asparagus and sweet potatoes… Mmmm! Mmmm!
Went to the gym yesterday and was not feeling great. My hip was bothering me (the one that I fell on) and I just couldnt get it to loosen up so I shot hoops for about 45 minutes and left.

Today I felt better and got into the gym for shoulders.

Warmed up

DB shoulder press:
50 x 10
70 x 8
80 x 8
90 x 6
70 x 8

Meadows side raises:
40lbs x 3 x 30 (<-- wow)

Rear delt pec deck thingy
4 x 12

Shoulders were feeling fried at this point and my traps were so effing sore from those power cleans the other day. yikes

hanging Leg raises:
3x10
For some conditioning I tried out DB clean and presses. I’ve never done these before but I liked them alot.

i did sets of 8:
30lb, 50lb, 60lb, 75lb, 60lb with 60 seconds rest. These are awesome and i would like to keep them for sure.

Now I’m back on the couch with a beer ready to watch the Lakers smash the Miami Heat! Lets go Lake Show!!

picture didnt load… i’ll try again

EDIT: Mother Effer! here we go again

Here, I found the pic for you, don’t be mad, k?

Is the hip feeling tip-top now? It sucks that it kept you from training.

sigh Greg, your log is a dark abyss for pics =(

Isn’t it? Pictures go in… And are never seen or heard from again. DUNN DUNN DUNNNNNNN

Steak, asparagus, and sweet potato.

WINNING!

Dude we need a vid of you busting a backflip onto a bench, hitting a quick max and moonwalking off like nothing happened. If you had this song playing in the background it would be the most gangster thing ever caught on film-

Haha, WhiteFlash, I think I’ve heard every possible mix of that song.

Greg,

You were in that special Navy unit? Nuts.

I can’t even take you seriously as you are, let alone picture you in a special forces unit like that.

Some more good beats

Ink- that’s one of my favorite meals to make (too ba te pic isn’t working) I like cooking a lot and actually thought about going to
Culinary school.

WF- yeah that would be sick. I’ll practice it and see what I can come up with? Maybe I’ll smash a PR, stand up on the bench and back flip off of it? Also, I was playing around at this outdoor gym at the local YMCA and I dunked a nerf soccerball twice. I couldn’t keep ahold of the basketball but did the squishy nerf ball. I think the rim was probably a little low but didn’t have anything to measure it with. It was still pretty awesome though. I liked humping on the blacktop.

Ponce- hahahHa yeah that’s what I did for almost 6 years. It was a pretty cool job but I didn’t wanna do it forever. It’s time to get a real job now lol. I haven’t really shot or done any sky dives dive I got out which sucks… I can’t stand paying money (lots of it) for stuff
I used to do all the time for free lol. Oh well.

DF- I love me some jams

I second WhiteFlash’s idea haha.

Please please please show oh lovely Mods, I made the pic just for Greggy ;(

Well, personally I like my idea better but I guess I can settle… Or learn to do it myself. Props on the dunk man. Was it an actual blacktop surface or concrete? Even if the rim was a bit lower you still had to get a good 5" or more above to punch it. I’m tellin’ you bro, with some practice and dedicated work you could be dunking this year.

I agree, you’re idea does sound cooler than mine… You should learn to do one yourself… You could do it easy with your hops.

It was a blacktop court not concrete. It was such a cool feeling and I’m definitely gonna keep practicing my jumps and keep working on getting my vert up. It’s gonna be awesome once I can throw down on a legit 10 foot rim with a regular ball. I was definitely pumped after putting those two dunks down

Haha, we’ll see man. I have a backflip story similar to yours, only it involves being 16 and seperating a few ribs… That and the fact that now I’m a giant pussy about shit like that = probably not happenning. Man, I haven’t played on a blacktop in ages. I love the springyness of 'em. I’ve always felt like if you can grab the rim fairly easily from a standstill you can get 2-hand dunks fairly easily off the approach. I don’t think you’re too far off.

Greg, you need to be like an F-18, bro.

But serially, I agree with WhiteFlash, sounds like you aren’t too far off at all. I understand about the basketball though. I have stupidly small carnie hands, and can’t palm the ball, which makes dunking stupid hard (besides the fact that I have shitty ups for my height). You’re motivating me to get back after it though.

Good luck, dude.

Sweet back flip! I say you step it up a notch with the use of lit torches.

I like the idea of weighted burpees. Killer! Imma try those once my shoulder is feeling better.

And you cook?! I knew you were more than just a well groomed moustache
