Bobbi's Log

I haven’t kayaked in ages -lucky girl. I need to plan a day trip sometime this summer.

Been doing my quick push/pull workout and I’m going out hiking today. My body feels great after taking these few weeks off from heavy lifting. My tendonitis is mostly gone, my joints don’t ache, my back and hips have loosened up so I can walk properly again and I’m still holding mass and shape. It’s been wonderful!
Does this confirm your previous plan to stay off the heavy lifting and focus on your other goals? The aches and pains just don’t seem worth the Mental satisfaction from super heavy lifting. I’m glad you are feeling great. Kayaking sounds fun!
I hate the word overtraining and think it’s thrown around far too easily by newbies and pussies but I honestly think I might have hit that point. I was blown out, exhausted, sick and constantly nursing injuries. I was the strongest I’d ever been but was avoiding the gym and cutting workouts short. After 4 months of strength gains on the LIMELIGHT program my body needed the R&R.

I’ve felt great lately - more energy, less pain - so I’m happy for now.

Happy ‘for now?’

Do you think there is a way to blend what you love(strength training) with other stuff, such as kayaking…which I LOVE btw…
but we’re thinking a canoe would work better for us!

Back in Ohio (boo-hoo) and it’s cold and windy! I spent the majority of my time in SD sailing, kayaking and walking on the beach. Everyone is so active - I can’t wait to move there!

Have you got definite moving plans?

Yea we’re going in July.

Don’t you hate when a cop is going exactly the speed limit in the far left lane? I just got pulled over for passing a trooper by 5 over. haha. What the heck.

oh dayum, that sucks!! Did you get let go with a warning?

SD=San Diego??

Fucking Ohio cops.

My first lift back and a video - I want your opinion on this one!

Wow. That was some video.

Personally, that was too much for me. Skimpy costumes PLUS suggestive moves for such little girls? That combo inappropriately sexualizes children, IMHO.

Starting a diet - have it written out and a starter pic up taken yesterday.

You look good and I can’t wait to see how the diet will do ya.

Oh, lord, those poor children! That is way inappropriate. Honestly its not the dancing that bothers me. I would be fine with that if their costumes were more modest. As it is right now, they make me feel really uncomfortable and no way I would let my little girl be a part of that(if I had one).

My sentiments exactly.

Your training is awesome, and after skimming through your log, you seem super strong. Very cool.
I’m interested to see how your diet works out! I will be starting mine soon too…
cheers!

Just a little update on diet. I got these little flat bread bun things that are 100 calories for both slices together instead of wraps and they are yummy!

I haven’t cheated once yet and I used to make fun of those 100 calorie snack packs but I have some of the oreo bars and they really are nice. The bar itself is tiny but because I’d have to go back to the box and open another one I don’t so it really helps me regulate my treats. 1 of those a day is keeping the crazy sugar binge away! haha

Bobbi, my wimpy-ass gym bought a TRX. Did some stuff on it today (I & Y deltoid raises, inverted rows, pushups with hands elevated in the hand holds) and that shit was not challenging. I see your scarecrow video, knee tucks, leg curls, chest & shoulders video, and that chest hold thing. Am gonna try these. Any other suggestions?

I love those little flat bread bun things! They’re good for pb&js or egg sandwiches, or anything really…toasted or plain.

I miss sammiches.

“fatteh” Lol!

I actually think your body is smokin as is. What kind of look you going for?

The closer you are to the floor the harder everything gets. I do all of my inverted rows and pushups with my feet up on the 18" box or a swiss ball. I do A LOT of holds and you can make them very hard. Do you have it anchored to a wall or in a doorway where you can get under it?

I have a little bump of fat on my lower abs that you can see from the side. I want that gone. I’d like my abs to be more defined altogether. I’d also like to see more definition in my shoulders/arms. That’s about it
