Bobbi's Log

It’s just looped around the bar that is in the doorway…did more today for back/bis/tris - will post tomorrow - no video tho… :frowning:

You can also do some good leg work with that no? You’ll need longer straps tho.

The straps are adjustable almost all the way to the floor - plenty of leg exercises - working my way into TRX - will post more videos as I go…

Nothing fancy today…had to blow through chest/shoulders workout…was able to get back tonight and do some iso holds…starting to feel more solid/less shakey in the holds… http://bobbiskai.blogspot.com/2010/03/bb-4-2.html

Bobbi you are always doing cool stuff, i like the looks of that TRX.

damn I could work out with you (minus the shooting hoops - i’m a shite bball player)

Got some video of TRX leg curls today and Christina and I screwing around with the calf raise machine.

It maxes out after 8 plates so she (at 140lbs) sat on top of it for me - got a couple stares in the gym today…haha

You are hardcore, love that you added a person when the machine maxed out!

I definitely like the look of those TRX ham curls, I’m going to have to look into that…

Hahaha! That’s good stuff.

Haha thanks my calves are pretty sore which is rare so that’s nice. I got super pissed at the front desk girl yesterday and it threw everything off so I didn’t even lift. I’ll do my back/arms today fresh.

Big measurement news!

PS. If you’re thinking of joining Urban Active, don’t. It’s got to be the most poorly run gym I’ve ever known. Front desk is under staffed, some (not all) of the trainers are rude, you can never find basic equipment and don’t expect anyone to help you - they don’t give a shit.

Nice guns!

Sorry to hear about the bullshit at the gym. Sounds like a terrible place to train!

mmmmmm…lean arms…insert <jealous!>

is that where you’ve always worked out or did i miss something new?

Yikes! What happened? =-/

Sweet on the Bis! How tall are you again? Just curious.

I’m 5’6 masch

Molly - it isn’t one big thing that went down, it’s a collection of smaller bad experiences over time, multiple rude comments from trainers, being strait up ignored even though you’re standing right at the desk waiting, the inability to find a band, a box, a measuring tape and the lack of effort by anyone working there to find it for you. It means that it isn’t one bad employee or one bad day, bad service is just the atmosphere in general.

Tal - I joined Urban in August - it’s my first time being a member of a ‘big box’ gym. Obviously, I am not a fan. lol

Kicked ass today, wrapping up the BBing intermission program, recorded weights to set a baseline and shot a demo video of the T-bar clean… http://bobbiskai.blogspot.com/2010/03/bb-5-2.html

Nice! T bar clean looks fun.

I’m sorry if you already said this, but what’s next?

like the cleans… adding those to my repertoire of new lifts.

Never seen that move before. Interesting.
