Deb - I can’t believe you have a 24" waist! That’s fn tiny!

And my shoulders are 43 or 44 - just go around the broadest part of your lateral delts with your arms down at your sides.[/quote]

It’s usually a bit bigger but I’ve cut back on carbs and calories. Tomorrow I’m hitting the chinese food buffet and 'm gong to remeasure a few hours after that

I think I need help with the shoulder measurement! It seems like about 42 but it’s difficult to tell.

Sounds like all you ladies have some super-hot bods! But that’s no surprise given everyone’s hard training!

DebraD - I covet your waist!

LOL! I took advantage of the chill.

Going to interrupt my log to…log…haha…got in a leg workout today and cardio tonight. I’m gonna start throwing in 40 minutes of cardio after clients at night… http://bobbiskai.blogspot.com/

Oh man, unstable bird dogs sound treacherous.

So what’s the reason behind the lsdc - is it just a matter of time, or energy?

Deb, a 24 inch waist plus the rest of you = amazingness.

My shoulders are at about a 38, but I’m going to work harder on 'em!

Are you focusing more on fat loss with the long, slow cardio?

M - not sure I understand your question.

I have an hour before my gym closes by the time I get there after clients. I don’t have the energy or pre-game time to lift but I wanted to get something done and have been wanting to get more cardio into my training for my heart and to keep the fat down. It’s the perfect time for some lscd.

I will have 50 pizzas delivered to the next person who asks me how to lose weight. Just because I’m a trainer doesn’t mean I help people lose weight! Do you think all doctors do the same thing too? Coming to me with your weight loss problems is like going to a cardiologist with a cold.

Hahahahah! Agreed! That’s why good trainers (for the most part) SPECIALIZE in something! For example, love Mike Robertson to pieces… but I would NOT go to him for a contest prep diet. Assessments and structural integrity issues… absolutely! But diet… nah! I would call Shelby Starnes, Christian Thibadeau, Lyle McDonald or Iron Addict. But I wouldn’t call any of those guys to help me with knee pain or a lack of ankle mobility =D

I will ask you how to lose weight just for the free pizza! ;D

I fix shoulders and make high school athletes good enough to play in college - specifically football players.

And I’m just having the pizza delivered - you’d be stuck with the bill!

LOL! sounds like a pretty cool job.

Love my job!

Lifted back and arms and got in another lsdc sesh… http://bobbiskai.blogspot.com/

I have chest and shoulders today…excited to work the TRX holds fresh this time!

Chest and shoulders and a video of some TRX work… http://bobbiskai.blogspot.com/2010/02/bb-3-2.html

Oh yeah, total shoulders and chest workout - i can feel that vicariously.

Thanks for the vids btw! Love seeing your training.

Legs - C and I did some TRX ab exercises and shot a couple demo videos… http://bobbiskai.blogspot.com/2010/02/bb-3-3.html

would you recommend a TRX for the home? I figure it would also be a good thing to have for travel as well!

TRX is pretty sweet. I’ve known about it since he started making them but I’ve just now gotten into it. I know colleges and rehab facilities that are bringing them in because you can do so much and they take up very little space.

Bobbi, I love reading your log. I’m going to look into this. I need a bit a variety and it looks pretty cool.

Is the TRX in the video mounted in that doorway? The mounting issue (ceiling would appear to be preferable, but that’s not happening in my house) kept me from being interested when I first saw this product.
