Hype lived up to.

Do you use a crossed arm hold or an Oly type hold on the front squats?

awesome! I don’t understand your program though. What’s the key to it?

What do you mean? It’s a strength program. The goal is to get stronger.

I mean what does limelight L35 mean? How does it differ from your old program?

LIMELIGHT is the name of the program
L stands for lower body
35 means it’s the 35th time I’ve hit lower body

It differs from the old program in many ways. The last program I did before this was 5/3/1. Before that was WS4SB. They’re all separate beasts. LIMELIGHT is very flexible so you have to know yourself and what you want. There’s a standard program and then you tailor it to your goals. It sets you up to constantly PR by making a change whenever you near a plateau.

I looked over my sheet to give you some examples. I started the program at the beginning of September.
Then - Deadlift 2x195
Now - 5x210 OR 10x185 (they both est 1RM 240)

Then - Box squat 1x155
Now - 12x155

Then - Incline bench 2x85
Now - 12x85

Then - DB bench 6x45
Now - 6x55

Then - UH pullup 7xbw
Now - 8x10

Let me know if you have any other questions…I’ll do my best to answer them

Thanks Bobbi, I’ll read up on it a bit and let you know if I have questions. I’m trying to improve my own set/rep scheme and I appreciate learning about any plan that is so effective.

If you’d like a copy just let me know

Updated the program to start bringing up some lagging body parts. Now some of the assistance lifts will be bodybuilder style rather than athletic style. Took pictures last week so I can note changes. I should be working on this through Feb/March and then I’ll cut back down to 12. I’m sitting at about 17 right now.

Points to do work:
cap the delts
complete the horseshoe
thicken up the abs
build upper chest to get that ‘line’ while relaxed
continue to fill out glutes
build out the curve of the hamstrings
more size in the inner quads
split the calves

Hi, um, you’re my hero…

Not entirely sure I understand your workouts but I’ll def investigate this Limelight you speak of. Looks incredible!

Since you note you have specific things you want to work on, some of which I’ve never heard of (i.e. complete the horseshoe, split the calves), I’m curious (sorry haven’t read your entire log), are you training for competition, if so what kind, or for general strength?

Anyways, awesome work.

Pictures? You can’t talk about pictures and then not show them. It isn’t right.

Hey, thanks. No comp. Horseshoe is the tris, 2 heads of calves “split the calves” - just general physique tweaks I’m looking for at this point.
