chalk is good. It helps with sweaty palms. I use chalk for deadlifting…chalk does not make the difference between being able to lift it or not. There is also the knurling of the bar to consider (then you get sexy callouses like I have)
last thing I want is to have a bar slip on me because of sweaty palms.
Chalk is not cheating. For me on heavy deadlifts, at least, chalk is the difference between comfort and horrible bloody hands.
Carmen is beautiful, but I wouldn’t know what the hell to do with her. Shane, maybe? I like the swagger.

Is a DB hold just holding a heavy-ass dumbbell in each hand with arms down at your sides? Or do you hold the dumbbell out or up? What is the point? Grip strength?

2 slices natural raisin bread (no butter) 180cal
1 20oz cup 100% white grape juice 300cal (1 hour pre lift)
Handful of vitamins including 8 fish oil caps 80cal
1/2 bottle gatorade during lift 150cal (yes. HFCS. I’m just finishing off what’s left)
-No pukey fairy during my lift!

Went to Brio and had a mini flatbread pizza with pep and sausage, half a burger, a bellini and a mini peach cobler. Mmmmm
