I blacked out squatting this weekend. it rattled me mentaly more than anything else. I was trying a squat suit out and the pressure was absolutely amazing. I felt like my neck and head was going to explode. On the way down i got dizzy and by the time i was suppose to come up i lost my sight. i dumped the bar behind me and cuaght myself.
my question is this. 2 days later i have this strnge pain in my neck. right where my lymphnodes are under my jaw but a little lower. I dont know if its swollen lymphnode pain or if i should be a little more concerned. maybe its just a strind mucle from ME squat and then ME bench the next day. any thoughts?
Get it checked out, lots of stuff is connected in that area and may be caused by either strained muscle or you may have damagedyour spine or collar bone.
Sounds like your suit works. It’s always a joy explaining this sport to doctors. Expect them ask “why are you holding your breath?”
I tried to tell them i work out to keep myself strong and healthy and they said i was prematurely aging myself… i really hate going to doctors

I’ve done similar a thing, usually from hard grimacing. I’d expect it to clear by day 3 or go have someone check it out.
I had a similar thing happen straining on a lift. I finished my lift, and all of a sudden noticed I had a sore throat out of nowhere, and my voice was all squeaky. After all day at 3 different docs, it took a chest X-ray to figure out that I had ruptured something in my lung, and pushed air into the soft tissue of my throat. The air bubble was pushing on my vocal chords, messing up my voice. They said that if it had gone into my chest instead, I could have had a collapsed lung from it. It was about 3 years ago, and hasn’t happened again, but it was definitely wierd. I would get yourself checked out to be sure.
Welcome to the wonderful world of equipement bro! It happens to all of us!
im trying to give it a couple days before i go in. thanx for the support guys
