You gripping the bar close? With elbows pushed forward?
As close as I can, I bring the elbows more horizontal now because vertical hurts the elbows a bit too much, still today they were sore for 30 mins after, if I could grip a bit wider I’d be fine but I can’t because I left in a power rack
Do you let your elbows compliment your arch?
I’m assuming I don’t man helppp mee
When I rotate my elbows forward and then unrack a heavy weight, my upper back will round some and my elbows move back a bit, so I’m not maintaining that actual position throughout set but the tightness is still there. It could be that you’re not shelving the weight properly or you have some serious mobility issues. I’d advise working on both. Is the pain in the joint or the attachment in the tris or brachs?
I’m sure it’s mobility. Because ive only had this problem since being over 230, my traps are bigger now so Im guessing it is in mobility. And it’s mostly in the elbow joint but possibly a little in the attachment

Yeah sounds like mobility
mobility wod dot com. Greatest site for everything mobility. Might learn something on technique and stability that you didnt know before as well. Or not. I know i learned a lot but i have much more room for that than some
If you’re looking to improve mobility, check out Mike Robertson’s Magnificent Mobility. It’s a great overview of mobility movements, drills, and routines, very clear, and straight-forward as well.
I ate over 6000 calories today at least half that was at a baby shower and te parents were spanishso there was tin if good food and desserts. Starting tomorrow I’m really gonna taper it back to 4500 if I feel like eating more fine and if I don’t I’ll get at least that much
I need to take a page from your book of lifting after weighing in this morning! I definitely like the idea of going superhigh calories then much, much lower on days off from lifting or less intense training days though.

I don’t know what he eats I’m assuming similar to me though lol, he’s squared we’ll over 900 in comp so I’m just glad I’ll be able to learn a thing or 50 lol.

Morning weight today is 250 I’ve never looked/ felt this good at 250 so far I’m quite pleased with my progress, now to gain 15-25 more:)
its a long time coming man when i started this thing almost 4 years ago i couldnt bench 70lbs at 230lbs of bodyweight for more then a few reps lol
Thats a hell of a ‘recomp’ as they call it. Massive progress.

i go at everything pretty hard, i dont tend to stick to doing the same thing long, but whatever i do i give it 200%
Dont take this the wrong way i mean this as motivation as i would be happy to get 10 reps at 225.
Dunno if you know who synergy on here is but i have the luck to workout with him once a week or so depending on how much time i have (its 1.5hr drive to meet him) but he got 405 for 14 reps today and he sucks at high reps. He is 285 or so right now and prepping for a competetion in june.
Just think of how strong you will be when you get to that weight and are in your mid 30’s.
Anyways insane PR’s. I cant wait to hit 315 for one soon. And hitting back to back PRs has to feel good. And good looking eats. Waffles are delicious. You know those are going to the rights spots as you keep crushign PRs

Synergy is a beast Ive always admired him, not just for his strength but how well he executes his nutrition, training etc wish i could train with him, deffo dont take that for granted!
I deffinitely wouldnt mind weighing 285 though i think my leverages would be very good at that weight
calories were 5790, will have something else before bed to bump to 6000, these days are supposed to be 4500-5000 but im not complaining
I am extremely greatful he allows me to train with him. wish i was closer so i could bother him more. And his leverages are ridiculous has his chest/shoulder width is nuts. Bar doesnt have to go anywhere.
